Georgia on my mind

I think UC shows up tonight and wins this game big. I just have a good feeling about it. They've been taking a lot of heat lately, the players know it and so does Mick.

I have a feeling Yancy is going to go off tonight. I want to see him play real physical and DEMAND the ball underneath the hoop. These guys on the floor need to get back in the mindset they had at the end of last season. I think tonight they take a step in the right direction.

UC 74 - UGA 57

I really hope you are right. I want to see Yancy on the block more, I'm tired of seeing him set picks up high and not being in position to rebound or get the ball on the block. I'm not quite as confident as you, but I'm optimistic.

No way UC comes away with a win. This team is weak minded and offensively challenged. Once they start one of their infamous droughts, they are done. We simply don't have the talent to come from behind.

Georgia is horrible--they shoot a lot of contested threes. The only way this game is within 10 is if they make some of those threes. They didn't seem to have a big guy (all of them looked pretty skinny) Yancy could do some work. Rebounding should be the main focus, as I said they shoot so many crazy shots- force them to one and done and UC should be fine

UC is a lot like Miami OH this year. I doubt we get blown out too much even when the opponet has more talent but I doubt we blow others out even when we have better talent.

Georgia = terrible.
UC = Not very good.

Not very good wins in a closer than should be game.

Nothing would be nicer then see UC come out and roll these clowns by 35 and put 80 on the board. Wishful thinking..

This is going to be a boring game, neither team can score. The #1 concern for UC is going to be the bench guy's first road games. The #2 concern is stopping Kentavious Caldwell-Pope because that kid is a BIG time talent and if UC doesn't have a perimeter guy that to stop him, they will probably lose.

Not to mention everyone in Georgia will be concerned with a minor football game.

Ill take that bet!

After a great start the Bearcats have run into some problems, like getting the ball across the half court line.

Bearcats shoot 33% in first half. UC goes 10 minutes without scoring, only down by 9.

The way Cronin led teams score, that 9 might as well be 29. Do our forwards know the idea of a low post move is to move towards the basket and not constantly away?

Mick wants the team to peak in March like UConn last season, not on December 2.
