First, because it is funny hearing OSU fans talking him up after they all crushed him at Florida. I guess the Urban Cryer stuff will fade away.

Two, because Urban is a supporter of UC athletics. I think we could see a large increase in games vs OSU with him as coach.

Ohio State is higher on the food chain than Florida. Don't get mad and talk about how they dominated OSU. I dont care about either team. I will say I like Urban. Always have.

OSU is one of 6 or 7 mega powers.

OSU, USC, Texas, ND, OU, Bama, Mich

Florida was the cool team for a bit but have gone back to their usual self. Urban knows winning at OSU is a bigger deal than winning at Florida.

Every OSU fan I know wanted Urban even when he was at Florida. Many were saying he will be in Cbus before his coaching career ends. He won at BG. He won at Utah and he won at Florida. He's a winner and nothing not to like about the guy

Oh please. To win at BG and Utah you must be doing something right.

Many questioned Tressels offensive play calling and base defense. He won ugly by relying on field position and minimizing turnovers

I recall a lot of my OSU fans bashing him. I think that was more out of admiration than anything.

Urban is a beast. I think he felt his time at Florida was done. I think he know he has a chance to go to one of the big big boys in college football.

Your DRUNK if you think that OSU is that far ahead of Florida. SEC vs Big10, its no comparison.

As far as him time being done at florida, ya it was... He cop'd out after losing (Tebow, Haden, Dunlap, Spikes, Caldwell, Cooper, Hernandez, Pounceys, Cunningham......). Easy to win with 9000 NFL players. Hes last recruiting class wasnt going to pan out and he knew it.

Urban did good things for Florida, it will be interesting to see how he handles OSU. Rumors have it that Urban will take a few coaches from the FLorida staff, including head strength coach.

Time will tell at OSU how he does, but its better than having Fickell remain as HC. Urban must have been doing something right to work his way up from being an assistant at St. X High, to a HC in major NCAA D1 football

Urban is an excellent coach, but I think his success at the high major level has been tied to Tebow much like Shannahan to Elway. I don't think he will better than Tressel record wise, some tosu fans are getting way too excited without considering the possible sanctions.
