Interesting Mick Cronin Stats

I'm going to make kind of a weird comparison, but Reds fans will hear me. Mick reminds me of Homer Bailey. Both got off to very rocky starts their first few seasons, and most wanted them gone. They've both steadily improved over the last few seasons and are really starting to make it in their profession. The haters will factor in their overall stats and first few struggling seasons, rather than simply acknowledging that they have gotten so much better recently and simply continue to do so. They've both had a few minor setbacks, but overall, they're both clearly trending upward. Why think it won't keep getting better? Of course they could regress, but that's not the current trend. That's why I loved the Homer Bailey deal. Until he stops improving, what's the harm? I'm a firm believer in trends. These two's first few seasons are so far back in the rear view mirror for me that I don't think either will ever even come close to those struggles again. I pretty much act like they never happened. Very, very bright futures.
