Terry Nelson mentioned this on the game broadcast. UC is going to have a serious logjam of guards and small forwards the next several years.

I hope Strickland is the real deal and can contribute by his sophomore year. And I hope Mick can get another impact big man, maybe in the 2014 class.

I have to admit that if they could get Nyarsuk the ball down low more, his jump hook looks pretty good.

if SK leaves, we will have the same log jam as we did this year, we will lose 3 guards and add 3 guards.

they need to work the ball into the post more to at least just keep the opposing team honest. the problem with nyarsuk is that he is not strong with the ball and loses it when trying to make a move.

A core of guards who have experience can take you a long way. It seems like the team might be setting up for 2-3 development years in between a real contender year.

Well, it's not like these backups won't have had enough time to develop by next year. They'll be juniors. Guyn, Sanders, and even JDIII (even with an injury year) will have had enough time to develop.

And alot of times, these backups tend to defer to the veterans. Once the veterans are gone, then we'll see if these guys are ready to step up, and sometimes they surprise in that situation. Plus, JJ and Nyarsuk will be seniors. Gaines will be another year older and probably play more as Nyarsuk's backup. Mick will really need to try and get Strickland up to snuff next year as he'll probably be playing major minutes his sophomore year.

I cut a tendon in my thumb back in my late 20's. They reattached it through surgery.

I used to have a really good football throwing arm with a tight spiral. To this day, ever since that injury, I have a hard time gripping a football. It's healed, but it's not the same.

I hope JDIII heals properly.

5:30 AM for this post.... Thats dedication!

We will also have Rubles with a year of D1 college experience, I dont think we will be as good as we were this year, but I think we will still be a tournament team. But it would be nice to get back contending for a national championship after this year, It's awsome looking at our team this year and saying, Why not us!
