Overall mood is quite down on the Cats, what are the things you guys want to see in the game?

I think this is a gut check game for UC playing at Madison Square Garden on National television against an undefeated team.

There was a struggling UC team several years ago that limped into the Jimmy V Classic in a game against Oregon and blew them out with Tony Bobbitt going OFF....11 years ago to the day.

No layups, no putbacks. Instead of worrying about what you aren't good at, focus on not slipping on the things we are good at. I have seen multiple games where missing outside shots or FTs carried over into uncharacteristic sloppy D. If we get back to playing lock down D and rebounding and "stealing" some points in transition and putbacks ourselves (I think this is the core of Bearcats basketball) I think we win the game. We just need to play our game and remember our identity.

Defense- I want to see us rebound the ball and get a freaking hand in someone's face when shooting.

Offense-I want to see something that resembles an offense. Like good passing, spacing, and MOVEMENT. How about someone driving to the hoop and get fouled. Get back to making FT's. Really disappointed in TR and JJ. TR has shown he is incapable of making an offensive move and scoring. He literally just tries to go through the defender.

I also want to see a lot more Caupain, Johnson, and Lawrence and less of Ge and JS. I will honestly be surprised if we get 60 points.

I am greatly concerned about the defensive rebounding, I hope Mick considers running a press and 2-3 zone combination. Need to do something to switch things up...

They just mentioned Jamie Dixon says he's having a hard time getting home-and-homes with good programs... Hopefully Mick and Jamie will be discussing that.

Is Rubles still a captain? I would have never guessed it after the last 4 games. God he is worthless on the offensive end.

Thought the same thing, I would have no problem playing Pittsburgh home and home. I'd think Mick and Jamie have a pretty good relationship from the BE.

Pitt is doing a great job trapping us in the corners and forcing the action to the middle... we need to reverse the ball more.

We aren't doing anything with the ball. I would give money to see a UC guy get the ball and be a scoring threat.

Justin Jackson has came to play, Mick must have been in his ear since Saturday...

I think us fans tend to overreact based on small sample sizes, but I really did think after the first handful of games that JJ would be an effective post scorer even against tough competition. The last two games were very discouraging, but maybe he does have something in him against quality bigs.

Who is #5 and #14? These new guys are playing unbelievable ...

Cincinnati is never going to win a game where they don't play with full effort. This team will only win games where they bring it like they have thus far tonight. It is not going to be pretty, but it can be effective. That is what was so frustrating about the Xavier game...they looked like zombies.

JJ has potential to create mismatches with his athleticism and quickness. When he slows down and plays within himself he is effective.

"Cincinnati with a lot of line drive shots"...No Jay, you're just noticing the one guy who shoots all line drives.
