I honestly didn't think we had a chance the last 3 years. You always hope but those teams weren't that good. Even the SK team had 2-3 guys on the court that couldn't make a layup. I thought that was mick's best coaching job. Last year we were ok but still knew we weren't great.I truly am one of those people that don't really care what sports analyst have to say. I'll listen because they obviously do watch a lot of basketball and it's something to watch but at the end of the day no one knows what's going to happen in a course of a game. I do remember when we got the Harvard draw, everyone picked them over us as a 12/5 upset. Purdue it was a split and last year I feel like everyone picked St Joes.. This year I feel as if the majority have us moving on and even some have us beating UCLA. Now again, I'm not trying to give them all the credit, but really we did lose to Harvard, and Harvard was in control the whole time. Purdue was a coin flip, and St Joes was a coin flip but majority picking St Joes which we ended up losing. What was everyone's thoughts going into the tournament the past 3 years? I didn't follow much on all these metrics, but it shocked me that a team like Harvard could beat us, but it almost seemed as a no brainer the way the analyst were speaking. Does everyone truly feel confident we won't have a problem in the first game? I just want to win with relatively ease and see this UC / UCLA matchup.
The so called experts don't have a clue. No one does. They just talk and usaully pick chalk. Doubt any of them picked uconn a couple years ago. Kinda like the poll voters. Many of them probably haven't watched a game of ours.
