had to be way more than 5,000. The student section at Nippert is 5,000 plus or minus 500 and I know that the athletic department opened up more of their allotment for the students. 8 or 9 thousand is a better estimate.

I believe there were 10,000 allotted for students. Whether or not they filled them all is another story.
