Just found out (From Around the Horn) Manute Bol is the one who came up with the saying "My Bad". He didnt speak English that well at first and heard everyone saying My Fault after bad plays--from my understanding because of his lack of English he came up with My Bad. (On around the horn they said it was proven some how)

Anyways- For all those who are always saying "My Bad" on the basketball court (Looking at you Great1) you can thank Manute Bol for the saying.

I heard that on the Dan Patrick show this morning. The story is a little different than that though. Barkley and others would always make jokes at Manute's expense because his English was lacking. At practice one day, Manute meant to say "My Fault" when he missed an assignment. Barkley said something to him about it and he said "My Bad." Barkley fell on the ground along with a couple other teammates laughing their asses off. From that point on, they all would say "My Bad" whenever they screwed up.

I think the guys on Around the Horn listened to Dan's show this morning.
