Cronin on the post game sad how amazing the fans were. We got there early and that really shows we care. He also said there were recruits there tonight and the crowd really impresses the recruits. Any word on who was in attendance?

Sanders quitely had a good game with 8 pts. and 3 assists. Troy with 6 pts., 4 rebs, and 2 assists. KJ with 4 pts and a block in 3 minutes. Kilpatrick and Jackson join Sanders with 3 assist each.

Jeff when a team scores 97 points and only has 3 TO's that is amazing. That is a lot of possessions.

Absolutely agree. I like that they were going oward the basket on offense and simply shooting from outside. How much more efficient is SK when others score? Couldn't be happier for Rubles.

I saw some kids from Hughes but they looked like they were there on their own.

Our D could have been better. We also didn't close out 1st half very well but a win is a win. Rubles was on fire tonight. Hope the guy stay focused and head to Rugters on a mission. Need that game to secure at least a share of the title. I'm sure Coach Jordan would like to knock us off in there house. They almost beat UCONN last game. This won't be a cakewalk.

There you have it.

Was also at the game... Heres what I saw.

Troy urging Dave to go in.. Shortly after an assistant coach came down and talked to Dave for a decent amount of time... Soon after the other senior walk on went into the game.

To me it seems as if Dave was asked if he wanted in and he said no.... and personally I dont blame him... Dave is not a walk on.. He has had valuable minutes on the court for this team. Memphis is a terrible matchup, UC needed to win this game. Id assume dave fully understands the matchup issue and didnt want to be thought of as a walk on.. which he isnt.

On a sidenote.. Dave has overcome alot bigger issues in his life than no minutes in a basketball game.

Other people on other sites reportng Dave declined. I agree with your reasoning.

I agree. If I was in Dave's position I wouldn't want to go into the game either. I actually think walk-on's across the country deserve credit for putting aside their pride and coming into the game knowing the cheers are kind of in jest. I heard Mick with Willie Cunningham earlier today saying that they are trying to keep him from being deported back to the Sudan after his college career is over. They are concerned that if he returns to get his passport renewed, he might not make it back. They are trying to get him as a political refugee. Not to mention his father past away due to lack of medication to treat his malaria.

As for the actual game: Cincinnati had 97 points on 68 possession (which is 1.44 PPP). That is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know if they have ever had this good of an offensive game in the Mick Cronin era. Titus Rubles was 4-8 on jumpers!!!

For a comparison, against UConn, UC scored 45 points on 63 possessions (for a PPP of 0.72). They doubled that in one game!

Great stat.

Listened to Cronin's post game. No mention of it. Neither Dan nor Chuck even asked about Dave.

When SK was shooting FTs in the last minute, I saw a player motioning for Dave to get up (as if he was going in) then an asst coach went down to talk to him. I'm not sure what that means, if anything, but I'd be curious to know why he didn't get in at the end.
Look like he was REFUSING to enter game at that point. Most definitely wasn't hurt because Mick told him go in around 1min left, also seen Caupain basically telling him get up and asst coach talking to him numerous times at that point.

The 18 home wins this season are tied for the second-most in Fifth Third Arena history. A win Saturday not only gives UC the regular season title, it'd be JJ's and SK's 100th win.

I don't even know what to say. Was at the game just watched the press conference where sk started crying about it being the last time he plays here. The character of the three seniors is unbelievable this means so much to them, and how much they care about coach and he cares about them is the coolest thing I've ever seen, that truly is a family the love each other. Sk amazing and I'm so happy for rubles the toughest player I've ever seen play. We will miss them so much, but trust me this team is done, these guys will lead us thru march. What I night!

The whole Mick didn't play David is BS. A couple of would be fans are trying to take one of the best nights in the Cronin era and turn it into a negative. The Cats won the game and the place was packed.

I was at the game and the pre game. Was extremely well done and emotional for all participants. I was very happy for these young men.

Jeff please don't allow two morons to ruin a great night for the kids, the fans and program. The memories created on that night should be about the accomplishments of the young men themselves and the appreciation for that effort by the team and it's fans. The memory should be about culmination of the journey shared with family and teammates not who didn't get what.

I cannot believe you people are actually defending the snub he and Dixon received. It was Senior Night. Usually, the SENIORS are honored on SENIOR NIGHT. Usually, the SENIORS get the chance to start on SENIOR NIGHT. Even Calipari, who I think is a slime, started his SENIORS against Alabama the other evening. It is hilarious that some of you think that Nyarsuk "took one for the team" at the end of the game. I would say it is far more likely that he decided that he was tired of being a side show and decided enough is enough. Game was decided when he and Dixon were allowed to come in and catch the final in bounds pass. Yes, this was completely classless on Cronin's part and I am done posting on this site. I am sick and tired of seeing the mindless following of this jerk. Yes, I am pissed. The Cats played a great game and Cronin had to piss on it.

Thank god. We dont want you on this site. We dont want you as a part of this fan base. Suck on your binky in the corner and dont forget your West Virginia Huggins bib. You have no idea what transpired or why. The fact that this is what you chose to concentrate on is more than enough evidence to realize you are operating with an EXTREME agenda against the head coach. Fans like you are disgusting. BE GONE! We'll be enjoying our big run in the dance.
