#UC attendance 12,328 today. Season average of 9,334 is Cronin-era high

I would like to get over 10k average next year

People are coming back. The sustained success is getting people involved again. I know several guys that swore they were done after Zimpher fired Huggs that came back this season and for the first time openly believe the program is primed to take another step.

A lot of it had to do with season tickets being dirt cheap to be fair Jeff...

They've run $99 season tickets for several years now. The difference is they marketed it better for this season, beginning last season down the stretch when fans were coming out to see Kilpatrick and Co. after we got into the top ten.

That's smart marketing. Give them an opportunity to see the product. Attendance is rising so there are people making second trips after buying that first cheap ticket and that's a good thing.

Very true. Today, I was sitting next to a couple who do not have season tickets, but they've been to 10 or 12 single ticket games this year - they were talking about what a good deal it is for entertainment

Could Troy telegraph his passes anymore? Our defense is letting Memphis stay in this game.

I saw a lot of lazy, looping, lob passes today - many of which got picked off. I think Shaq out there on the floor trying to break the press is an absolute disaster - when he gets the ball, he has no idea what to do with it or where to go or who to throw to or how to dribble it

Kind of glad Nichols wasn't there today - Memphis is going to be really good in the next couple of years.

@JonRothstein
Cincinnati lost Sean Kilpatrick, Justin Jackson, Titus Rubles + Mick Cronin, but still will make the NCAAs. All a product of great culture.

@JonRothstein
It's time to legitimately start talking about Larry Davis as AAC Coach of the Year. Went 14-6 since taking over for Mick Cronin in December.

I know he's always super positive, but good to see us getting some love. I think we are 15-7 with Davis though, right?

I don't think there is any doubt now this team plays better with Cobb in the starting lineup and playing as many minutes with TC that we can. They have looked so much better since he broke the starting lineup.

Ellis is looking really good lately. I would like to see Clark play with a little "mean face" every once in a while.

Well done Sanders! Thank you!

Shaq and KJ were liabilities against the press. Lazy lob passes...too much dribbling by Shaq. TC wasn't great today either in the press...but when Cobb and TC are out there we generally look pretty good.

If we play TC, Ellis, Clark, and Cobb 30 minutes plus and we can get Shaq, Sanders, or KJ to have a decent game...we have a chance to make sweet 16.

If we play a team that presses I think Sanders needs to be in there. He usually doesn't get rattled and turn it over.
