I think you're over doing it a bit. But for once I have to agree with you on some of that. I really just don't understand this playing guys because they don't make mistakes thing. It's one thing if you're being overly careless, it's another if you take a bad shot or two, or make a stupid turnover. Sometimes these thing just happen. To me it seems like broome and Washington get this the most. I think it's effects Washington way more than broome. Broome is still gonna come in and do his thing, but just in less minutes which is bad for the team. Washington you can really notice his body language sometimes and I don't know if it's actually being mad at coach or just more of him kicking himself. Either way it gets him out of rhythm and off his game and I think just tenses him up the rest of the game. Look at tonight, he was on from the get, and he made a couple turnovers but by that point he was scoring so effiectly Cronin wasn't going to take him out. Either way, I agree you have to let the best players play, if you wanna prove some points early in the season so be it, but this is already crunch time as far as seeding is concerned and we need to start playing for the future of our season and that means the best guys getting their due minutes
kyle for sure at times seems afraid to make mistakes and broome sometimes looks like that too. thats no way to play any sport. you can't be out there thinking about what you need to do or fearful of a mistake.
broome lets a ball get poked out of bounds, not even a turnover and he gets benched for an entire half? what is that? then i guess mick realized he was wrong so he played broome the entire 2nd half but then that messes with jenifers head.
i dont know what kind of mental gymnastics he's trying to run on them, but i hope he knows his guys really well.
