Tail of two halves IMO. First half UC came out, focused, aggressive and worked the ball down low. They came out with a purpose. Defense was on point too. 2nd half was pretty ugly. Everything was outside the 3 point line. Passing was not good, lazy passes and lazy D. Make no mistake, I think UC made improvements and beat a decent team. UC continues to just leave so many points on the floor. Good to see progress though.

I love AK but would much rather play Creighton because they are a better team (presumably) and our Conference has been horrible against other leagues. We need the RPI boost and Creighton has already beaten Oklahoma. I want to see how we play against a solid team.
 
Watching Creighton and Ole Miss both look beatable.

Nobody plays D like Cincy plays D is my main takeaway here so far. I don't watch other teams very often (just tourneys to see what we're up against) and it just confuses me how many guys let the other team just blow by them for easy layups.

I've become conditioned by Mick's system :p

For that matter, nobody plays offense like Cincy plays offense either. :p That being said (tongue in cheek), I'm pretty happy with a good effort tonight. As I've said all season thus far, I like this roster of players and they took a nice step forward tonight. They fell in love with the three in the 2nd half, but every time MTSU went on a little run, someone hit a big shot to stem the tide. My early season feelings about Clark were way off. Starting to like him a lot. Was glad to see Mick finally give Morman some PT and even more excited to see Morman respond with a nice game. Lots to be happy with today.. Ole Miss is athletic but very undisciplined. I like our chances. Looking forward to see these two young coaches go at each other. I imagine both want this one real bad.......for obvious reasons!
 
UC's most complete game thus far. Looking forward to tonight's game. Regardless of the outcome it should provide a glimpse of where this young team is.

7-15 for 46 percent. If they can do that every night Fire away. They also shot over 60 percent.as you said another nice step forward.
