NCAA Tourny

I just heard on Sporstcenter that Joe L. has UC as his first team out of the tournament. So what do we need to do in order to get in the field of 65?? I think we need to win 4 out of the last 6 in order to make it, however we can make it in with getting only 3 wins if 2 of those wins come against WVU, Gtown, or NOVA. Our remaining schedule is (with predictions)

@ USF (W, really tough tho)
MARQ (W, riding the momentum)
DEPAUL (W, Depaul is awful)
@WVU (L, but possible)
NOVA (L, NOVA is too good)
@ Gtown (W,gutty win to end the season, we will need it and Gtwon will b looking to the BE tourny)

That puts us at 10-8 in the BE and prob the 6,7, or 8 seed in the BE tourny and that in my opinion is enough to get in, unless we FLOP in the BE tourny.

I don't disagree with the analysis, and UC would have to win the games you mentioned, as Nova and WV are pretty tough, even though UC has Nova at home. Then again, we have shocked WV a couple of times, and a loss is not a given. We'll see if Mick can pull some magic out of his hat.

I think if we win 3 out of 6 we will be in good position. I think 19-11 would be close to a lock. I think 18-12 would mean needing a win maybe 2 in the Big East tournament.

I think we drop a game verse Marq, USF, or depaul. I always this we get a win verse WVU, Nova or Gtown.

I think 18-12 with a win over one of those last three puts us on the inside of the bubble probably needing one win.
