Depends what happens with Oregon. Personally, I think they pass on Fleck and go with a more proven commodity. The it comes down to if Fleck wants to stay at WMU another year or is ready to come here. I think we end up with Brohm but if Baylor backs up the Brinks truck I would be happy with Jason Candle.

Yeah I'd think Oregon could make a bigger hire, but who, I don't know. Don't claim to be an expert. As far as him staying another year, why would he? He's on top, nothing left to prove. He could go 10-2 next year and it would be a down year. His stock is as high at Western Michigan right now as it will ever be.

I really like the idea of strong, but fleck is the favorite I think.

ya strong would be great he would be best scenario as far as recruiting. i like the idea of a strong or a young gun either way were going to get a dam good coach and better set up then we had with tubbs

Seen on twitter UC wants a younger, offensive-minded coach. I like Strong but he doesn't fit the mold unfortunately.

One benefit of strong is he would still probably have good recruiting in the area. Looks like Btown already said that though. I'm just glad Tubs is gone. The program cat really go much farther down then they did this year. Now if the Bengals could only take notes...

Mike Brown, Mike Brown, Mike Brown...

A writer on ESPN (who knows how valid they are) say Troy Calhoun from Air Force and Luke Fickell are other possible candidates. Don't know much about Calhoun but Fickell did alright when he had to lead OSU.

My dream coach is definitely Fleck. The way he's been able to recruit at Western Michigan... I can only imagine what he could do in a few years here.

But after that I would be more than happy with Brohm, Strong or Brown!
