How is it that no one here posts about that USA v Canada game last night. That was a great game, with a lot of action and excitement. The win was huge for USA, which gives them the easiest possible run to the gold medal game. They don't have to play any of the big three, Russia, Canada or Sweeden until the Gold Medal round.

It's kind of a shame that Russia and Canada are playing eachother so early (assuming canada wins) but at least they will play eachother. Quite surprising that before the olympics started everyone thought this would be the gold medal game, and instead one of these teams will be leaving without a medal at all.

Huge game today. After the first period its 0-0. Shots on goal 18-4 USA. Hit the post once, and had some opportunities but we need to get a goal early in the second. Can't let this team stick around.

Oooh man. End of second 0-0, last I heard shots on net 32-8. USA throws the puck to the net with 3 seconds left, it's batted around and goes into the net. No goal, puck was on the redline(didn't cross the line) with .01 seconds left. Another thenth of a second and USA is up 1-0 going to third.

A real problem now. Miller hasn't faced many shots on net, and therefore could be cold. USA HAS to score first in the third, or it may be over. We do not want to go to overtime/shootout with this team.
