I am assuming the schedule will be released soon? Here is what we know so far (taken from BB), I included last years RPI and record:

Bearcats Updated MBB OOC Schedule with dates made public so far:

11/8 NCCU (19-9, RPI: 155)
11/12 NC State (24-10, RPI: 33)
11/16 App State (13-16, RPI: 255)
11/20 Campbell (11-19, RPI: 289)
11/29 Kennesaw St (3-27, RPI: 341)
12/07 @ New Mexico (29-5, RPI: 2)
12/14 vs XU (US Bank Arena) (17-14, RPI: 87)
12/17 vs Pitt (MSG) (24-8, RPI: 44)
12/28 Nebraska (15-18, RPI: 104)

11/16 App State (13-16, RPI: 255)
11/20 Campbell (11-19, RPI: 289)
11/29 Kennesaw St (3-27, RPI: 341)

This is the kind of garbage that kills our RBI. Hope we one day stop playing teams worse than 150.

wrong sport:D

But I agree. I know the one side of the argument is but it gives your players time to get into the full swing of things.

But playing a team like kennesaw st gives you has no advantages. better off scrimmaging your bench. How can a team only win 3 games? Micks first year we had all jucos and played in the toughest conference in America and still won more than 3 games

11/16 App State (13-16, RPI: 255)
11/20 Campbell (11-19, RPI: 289)
11/29 Kennesaw St (3-27, RPI: 341)

I think 1-2 of those games are good for confidence builders with young teams like this years team. I agree that 3 is too much, though.

Global Sports Shootout, a round-robin event featuring Campbell, Appalachian State, N.C. State, N.C. Central and Cincinnati.
Want N.C. State? Got to play Campbell and Appalachian State.

You also have to spend more money to get teams around 100-150 in the rpi. Money this athletic department doesn't have at the moment.
