I would love to see Louisville be home to the Big East Football Championship.

Not too far east. Not too far west. Nice Stadium that fans could fill. Gives L-ville a little more reason for staying. May convince them to be apart of the West Division.

Any other thoughts??

The Big East has always been very proud of the NY connection so I would imagine a BE championship game would be played in NYC. I would highly doubt a conference would play a championship at a member school's facility.

I would not be the least bit surprised to see the location announced as Yankee Stadium. The new Meadowlands could be a potential site as well but it would be tough to fill that place up. Yankee Stadium would add something unique to the game and you wouldn't have to worry about all the empty seats in an 80k seat stadium.

No Big East team is a good enough draw to play it on a neutral field. It should be played on the #1 teams home field (like the PAC-12).

Totally agree with this. Hopefully they take a look at the ACC championship game and how badly that game is attended and decide to use the field of the higher seed. Having it at a neutral site will have too many people dressed up as empty seats.

It is almost certain that when the Big East gets 12 football teams the first Championship game will be held at Yankee Stadium.
