#bearcats Quadri Moore has been suspended from the team for not meeting the "standards both athletically and academically" to be a Bearcat.

Not surprised. Seems to be very much an "I" guy. Lackluster attitude on the court and the bench. Really hope it's a wake up call for him because I think he has the skill set to be successful IF he buys in! Probably see a lot of Shaq at the 4 in certain spots now.

Down to just 9 scholarship players. I agree that Shaq is going to have to play the 4 because now we only have 3 big men: Clark, Ellis and DeBerry. This season we've lost Guyn, Strickland and now Moore.

We had to play small a few years ago when we had everyone suspended and that worked out pretty well. Maybe now can be similar, who knows.

Disappointing. This is a fork in the road moment for him. How he responds will tell us if he is tough enough to be a Bearcat or not.

Sean was a special player/person. Not many are as mature and willing to do anything to be successful like he was. What you had with Sk is rare and don't think you can really compare anyone to him. Lawrence and Moore seem to have a much different mentality. It's easy to pick up on when you watch Moore on the bench, he pouts, doesn't pay any attention in time outs, maybe why he looks so lost out there most of the time. You see Deberry, Morman, Shaq, and most others when they are on the bench they are pumped when good things happen in the game, QM just sits there. Not sure if I'm the only one who notices this stuff, but body language says a lot.

Interesting that the suspension note mentioned academics.

Yeah mentioning both makes it really look like an attitude/effort problem. I don't think anybody will be too surprised by that if you watch him on the court (especially during the pre-game and 2nd half warm ups).

So because he redshirted and was at prep school he had character problems?? Or are you talking about strictly form an athletic standpoint? From the time SK stepped on campus at UC he was a model citizen and player.

It lets me know he had problems also
So every kid that goes to prep school has issues or problems. Do you get out much? Do you understand what sterotype means? Wow! This might be the most uninformed post I've read since I starting coming here. For those wondering why we have issues with equality and justice in this country I give you example no.1.Kids from NY and prep school have issues WOW. You need help!!!!

I don't think it matters that much except the fatigue factor. To me it seems whoever subs in inherits the same problems as the majority of the team. Lazy bad passing and ball movement and propensity for turnovers.

You only go prep with bad grades
