Rothstein on Bearcat's schedule

Cincinnati's non-conference schedule in 12-13 is a bear. At Marshall, Xavier + SEC/Big East plus Iowa State in Vegas then maybe UNLV.

Rothsteins a very easy guy to like.. He never bad mouths anyone.. All his tweets refer to positive stuff about how a team is improving and what not. I wish more reporters were like that.

I love the fact that UC has someone in Rothstein reporting consistently positive stuff, but what exactly is his connection to UC? He definitely seems to have some bias towards UC (which I like).

Although I still think it's too early to say the OOC is a "bear". Not sure about Marshall but I don't see how Xavier is any good this year and a lot might depend on which SEC team they get and whether they face UNLV, as they will be very good.

I know he resides in New York so it may just be that were a big east team, but he seems to know basketball no matter the location.

Also, I agree with you that while I love his comment, not sure I would consider our schedule a "bear" right now. It should be safe to say though that come March, the haters will have problems using our OOC SOS as an excuse.
