Lost 3 of the last 4, need to right the ship come Saturday @ Rutgers. This is a tough game for any team and is anything but an easy win.

UC - 63 / Rutgers - 56

I am sure Ralphy will ridicule me for this but I think we will drop this game in heart break fashion, 58-55. I honestly can't believe I am thinking this but my reasons are:

I think this team has seriously lost their confidence. Playing at that high school sized gym has and is always tough. Our offense is bad right now, the word it out on how to stop us and Rutgers coach is pretty smart. He will have his defense ready to muddy up the game. Rutgers has a few solid players, I watched the Pitt game Carter and Mack are solid. Mack is shooting 48% from 3's and both players are 90% ft shooters. This is a tough game to "turn" things around and for some reason I can see it being another tough L.

Normally, anyone this guy picks I would bet against. But I am going to give the Cats a 10 point win here. Rutgers is just flat bad this season. Their record is very misleading.

Every team in the big east is a solid basketball team, right now it is the SEC of Football and the way cincy plays to their opponent, every game is going to be a close one.

stop dane miller and eli from scoring twenty a piece and the rest will work it self out. I think uc plays better away from home on the road for some reason. Although rutgers isnt a gimme i c uc winning by 15. Keep dane off the boards and eli out of the paint and this will be the start of a winning streak.

Rutgers lost to St. Peter's at home, barely beat Princeton, uncg, Iona, gw, and uab. They lost to ole miss. Their only good win on the year was Pitt.

They aren't nearly as good as their record indicates

Rutgers beat Pitt, Pitt beat Georgetown by 28.

Moral is all that matters is how you play that night, anyone in Big East can beat anyone else in Big East.

I am getting the impression that everyone is already making an excuse for another loss. People, Rutgers is not that good! I will say it again. Rutgers is not that good.

Rutgers beats SJU at the garden by 2. That team is feeling pretty good and has a lot of momentum. We are basically the polar opposite, will be very tough. I still stand by my prediction on page 1.

BTW Cashmere just got engaged to his girlfriend tonight. Congrats to him. Let's see how this translates his game on the court.

The kid gets engaged and we're worried how this translates to the game? Ok, then.

Meaning like if he is still able to maintain focus and play well. That is a huge step in any guys life, don't twist my words and wrongfully analyze it. I think it might make him play better, I bet that was heavy on his mind for awhile. imo.
