Oliver Purnell has designed a game plan to stifle the Bearcats. This will be a really tough game for the Bearcats to win. UC does not play well at the Rosemont arena.

Do you mind sharing his game plan? Is it in pdf? Just email it to me. Thanks.

Sure I will share his game plan, get in the passing lanes to disrupt the offensive flow, limit posessions, take Cash out of the game, leave Rubles open getting him to fling up 3's.

Ever since Huggins beat OP at 5/3rd 116-53 he makes the UC game his personal Super Bowl.

I agree it was a good game plan but why can't we still play our tough nosed defense and then push the ball down the court quickly? Maybe a run and gun just on offense?

I agree with your thoughts and the only thing that I can think of is that he has them so worried about turnovers that they are afraid to run.

It doesn't matter when your team is horrible

RALPH PREDICTED A TIGHT GAME SO PUT YOUR MONEY ON A BLOWOUT! LOL!

None of those things that you mentioned are a type of offense.
I don't mind the single-post offense, but it sure works a hell of a lot better if you have a big man that is worthy of a double team. That would free up so many more outside looks. If our big man is not going to score at all then I wouldn't mind seeing what they could do out of a high-post, 2-3 high type of offense. Instead of Mbodj and his man camped under the basket, open up the lane for more drives and back cuts. I'd really like to see how it work with either Rubles or Jackson in the high-post surrounded by 4 shooters (Cash, SK, Parker, and Sanders).

Im not sure what they are doing now is a type of offense either.

Would just like to see more screening and picks. If youre offense is about matchups, you arent going to get many just by weaving around the 3 pt line. Screens and picks confuse defenses.

And a way to get the ball in the paint would have parker and killa curl off screens from the elbow

It took me awhile to realize that our offensive strategy involves no off ball screens. It's a tough pill to swallow especially when we have an incredible set shooter in SK.

It truly is sad.

I dont think any of us expect the princeton offense, but a few screens would be nice

Getting in the passing lanes shouldnt affect u.c.'s One on one high ball screen offense.

Melvin, Young and Crockett are still pretty much their team. They're good but Depaul has no depth behind them, pretty or ugly, get the win and gtfo of Dodge.
