Wvu message boards broke Wvu to the big 12, Missouri to the sec and Texas am to sec

The Ralph message boards said Wvu would never leave the BE

The WVU message boards did not break those stories, ESPN, Fox, etc., broke those stories, some guy read the ESPN, Fox, etc. stories and posted it on the WVU message board.

This was posted today on the Louisville Scout message board, Mr. Mick:

"Heard on the NY sports network that Cinci is discussing a move to big 10.
Doubtful it would happen but they too are looking for a place."

I cannot wait for the annual Ohio State vs UC football and basketball games. My season tickets are now priceless!

If Nancy Zimpher were still UC President UC to the Big 10 would be a done deal, no way the Big 10 would have turned Nancy down. The BOT should have hired Nancy back when Williams quit.

You are wrong as usual. Ohio state is blocking uc.

Gt or Rutgers will be #14 in the big 10. Nice try

Apparently, you also lack the ability to comprehend what you read. I posted a comment from the U of L board to allow you to realize that what you read on a WVU message board or any other message board is not quotable fact.

I know exactly what you wrote and you are wrong.

You are now backtracking. Rutgers or Georgia tech will Jim the big 10 as the 14th team

I honestly am pretty confused with all this movement. I really haven't read much into all these teams leaving but I was under the impression the Big East was pretty stable as of last week with a big TV contract and all. So why are BE teams still jumping ship? There is def. more going on behind the scenes than we know.

What does this mean for UC and more importantly, is the BE truly going to remain a legit conference? Are we still going to just do nothing while all the "big" BE schools move elsewhere? Quite frankly I do not understand why Rutgers gets the approval to go to the Big 10, doesn't seem like a reasonable fit. I also think its bs because if Rutgers goes I don't see why UC wouldn't go before them. The only reason I see is bc O$U are homos and everything else is about money.

Now sources are saying that UConn is about to jump ship for the ACC. Things are not looking good at all right now

The Big East was stable as a football conference until they were not given the same access to the football playoff as the other five "BCS conferences." That drove the nail in the coffin. When I say stable, I say that with the realization that UCONN wants out and has wanted out since Syracuse and Pitt were picked over them. Rutgers is going for a money grab and some stability. Of course, they will be the door mat of that conference in both football and basketball so enjoy, Rutgers.

I think the real question is "What the fuck is Jim Delaney thinking?" Maryland and Rutgers do nothing for that conference. I know Jim Delaney thinks that Rutgers will get them access to NYC but he obviously has never been to NYC before. The people there couldn't give two shits about Rutgers. If you look at the Big Ten right now, their football is horrendous. Ohio State is decent but haven't played anyone. Michigan has lost to any good team they have played. The conference as a whole hasn't beaten a good OOC opponent yet. Throw in all the shitty teams like Purdue, IU, Illinois, Northwestern, Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State, and then look at all the under performers like Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Nebraska and you have a really bad football conference. It's not going to get any better with Maryland and Rutgers joining.

It's really frustrating to have genuine concern over the state of our football program, what conference we'll be in and what that means for the future of UC football and the revenue it brings in...only to have to read an entire thread of Bearcat Mick and Ralph have the world's worst argument of all time.

Nobody cares who told who when.

When a team leaves the Big East, no UC fan thinks, wow Bearcat Mick was right or wrong. Or, I should have listened to Ralph. We are generally concerned about the program.

In coming to this message board for information on what's going on with UC, how we are acting, what our prospects might be...I'm met with multiple threads that Mick and Ralph have took a large figurative dump on, and I have gained no information.

You guys really know how to ruin productive conversation. Can't you two just exchange phone numbers and e-mail addresses and not ruin what has the potential to be a high quality message board?

Uconn has notified the big east it is going to the acc

I told you earlier that you should not take as fact what is posted on WVU message boards. You are again wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

"Brett McMurphy ‏@McMurphyESPN
ACC hasn't approached anyone about replacing Maryland, but numerous schools contacted ACC about joining ACC, official tells"

What you should really worry about is UC getting left out of the 4 sixteen team mega conferences. When formed the 64 teams will leave the NCAA behind to form their own organization and host their own National Championship Basketball Tourney. The NCAA, all the schools not in the 64, then becomes the equivalent of Division 2.

The numbers do not stack up well for UC to be included in the 64.

You are wrong as at the moment UConn has not been extended an invitation to join the ACC, it is well known that BC has black balled UConn in the past and Florida State has stated that if UConn is invited they will leave.

Question, if most of the current members of the ACC leave to go elsewhere and Syracuse, Pitt, Boston College, Miami, Virginia Tech are joined by Louisville, UConn, South Florida, and Cincinnati in what goes by the name of the ACC, is it really the ACC or the Big East?
