Game is Wednesday night at 7.

Samford is 1-1. They beat San Diego 83-65 and lost to New Mexico State 58-48.

They are #235 in KenPom.
Not sure but I'll guess we'll be -23 or so.

Cronin mentioned Wyatt walker (sounds like a cowboy name) is the 2nd leading rebounder in basketball.

Through 3 games averaging 15 a game

Would love to see Cumberland get going here and Scott to continue good play.

Maybe it's time for coach to stop trying to make Troy and Gary more aggressive and just let them play. When Troy forces things it's not very efficient. Evans is more capable to pick up the aggression. Let Gary be Gary since we have Washington now.

Play great D, do the little things right, and pick your spots on offense.

Thinking of going to the game tonight but I'd be risking the peace and harmony of my home. We have a whole group coming for dinner tomorrow and if I don't at least give the impression of helping I may be in trouble.

Either way lets get a win and move to 4-1.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Oh and by the way I'm thankful that I have a nice group of fans to talk Bearcat sports with.

Haha this cracked me up. I say go to the game and deal with the consequences later!

Cronin is a master at finding obscure cupcakes to throw to the lions. When I heard we were playing Samford and Sons, I thought about just giving my tickets to my kids. But, I did a little research and they have this dude averaging 15 rebounds a game, so the matchup with Washington and Gary on the inside should be interesting. Plus, they were respectable against New Mexico St., so I'm going and hoping for an enjoyable evening.

I think I am as interested in watching this team as I have been in any of Cronin's 10 seasons. I just wish I didn't have to sit through Samford and Sons, and Lipscomb Iced Tea and some of the rest of these obscure cupcakes that Cronin brings in. But, for me, it's a way out of the Thanksgiving preparation, and I'm taking it. I would like to see something near 100 points tonight from our offense.

I'd like to see 40 minutes of man defense. At this point, the zone should be a wrinkle/curve ball to throw at good teams. Shouldn't be necessary in a game like this.

haha Cronin now is the only one that schedules cupcakes. Dude cant even put on a shirt the correct way in your mind. Man, when you hate someone, you really hate someone.

Don't hate the guy at all. There are lots worse than him. I've said that the next three years look promising, with next season looking amazing in my opinion. He can stay here for life if he raises the bar and starts doing something similar to what Huggs gave us....or better. He's nowhere close to that at this point, but these next three years might get us in the vicinity. You won't hear no bitching from me about him if he pulls it off. My comments about this team have been mostly positive.

Now...about the cupcakes. That has been a consistent complaint about Cronin since he got here. I'm sure it has been a "BIG" factor in the huge loss in attendance since he's gotten here. I specifically remember the dumbest ticket price increase of all time in Cronin's 2nd or 3rd season, when three quarters of the people in my section specifically commented that they would not pay these ridiculous prices to watch all these $hit teams that Cronin brings in here. And, they absolutely all left. I had been with the same group of people for 30-some years, and not a single one of them is there any more. And, the ones who replaced them come and go. They're not loyal at all. They'll stay two years, and then you won't see them anymore. There are lots of cupcakes to play. You don't have to go down in the 300s and find them all like he does most of the time. There are enough cupcakes in our league these days. He should be stepping the OOC part of the schedule up. He has a little bit lately, but not enough.

cupcakes have been anything but this season. many upsets in the early going.

Agreed. I would like to see Mick experiment with the lineups in the next two games. I'd like to see Scott with Clark as the 4/5 and also see more of Cumberland/Evans as the 3/4. Also as little of KJ as possible.
