Game is Thursday night at 9 PM on ESPN.

SMU is 14-3 and has already played 4 AAC games...4-0 with wins @Memphis, @ECU, vs Temple, and vs USF.

They are #26 in KenPom. #33 AdjO #33 AdjD #338 AdjT.

I'm guessing we'll be -5. Maaaybe -6.

SMU 57
UC 69

I'd say best team in our league other than us. Crowd will be rocking and I bet sold out. A lot of excitement around the basketball program (football too), we should win this for sure. Cant wait!

This needs to be a sellout. It should be rocking, especially with the students back. We need to continue to be aggressive and get to the line. SMU only plays like 6 guys. Seems like it's been that way for a while.

Win this game and I fully believe we're a top 15 team. Would be 4-0 and played every team that has a chance in the conference except UCF. Send the message that not only will we win the AAC, but we'll own it.

9 pm start time....woof. Hates all these late tips.

Agree. Hope it doesn't affect the turnout. But at least we're on ESPN. Not CBSSN, ESPN3, ESPNU, or FS1. Just good ol ESPN regular. With the exposure that gives the program and how easy it makes it for me to watch, I'll take those late tips every game if it means we're on ESPN.

It directly effects me. I was considering getting tickets, but I get up at 6am for work, and really don't feel like sitting in a parking garage until midnight. Then driving back to Blue Ash.

Apparently the high is 60 on Thursday, though. Maybe that'll help.

What stands out the most: Teams are shooting 75.3% from the free throw line against us, good for 11th in the COUNTRY. And our defense is still #2. That's pretty nuts, since we obviously can't control what other teams shoot from the line against us.

It is pretty absurd. Likely will regress and have some luck with that going forward hopefully.

Would like to have some more free time and take the CSV file to be able to completely nerd out and look for interesting stuff and make some pretty graphs/charts but I don't have the free time at work and at home like I once did so I'm stuck just perusing the obvious on my phone.

The weirdest one in FT differential is Notre Dame. They are #1 in FT% but are dead last at #351 in Opp FT%. Must be something with the rims at the Joyce Center!

Just went and checked out seat availability for the SMU game on gobearcats. There are a lot seats to be had. Let's hope for strong sales this week, this team has earned it.

Upgraded my tickets again but this time I am selling 2 tickets to SMU.

Bearcat Lair.

2 tickets section 221 Seats 7 and 8 row 27 (its up there, but literally directly center court and a great view on a huge game like SMU).

They go for $15 a piece, But Ill sell for $12 (basically beats gobearcats.com and the fees they charge on 3rd parties)

Let me know.

We had >10k for the last two home games against Marshall & Tulane. No reason not to sell this one out (although I get the 9 on a Thursday start time isn't ideal - except for you Jacob).

Win this one on Thursday and we'll have a stranglehold on the conference.

Go Cats!

Seems our guys have cleared that hurdle of knowing they're good, but not being above playing hard. Coach Cronin has talked about the chemistry and maturity of the group. As fans we've talked about the frustration of getting into the Top 25 and changing who we were in order to get there. Cronin has also talked about making sure we aren't "too cool" to do the little things like in the Marshall game. It just feels like it's all sinking in. The team wants to play hard, takes pride in playing hard, and has confidence and a team first attitude in the process. They no longer get get much out of reading their own press clippings. It's all about the work. Here's to hoping we continue to see the swagger we so often see against the lesser teams. We were picked to win the league for a reason. Time to show SMU who's going to be running things in this conference from here on out.
