I like that it will be played at Madison Square Garden. UC has a better chance of winning at The Garden than at Carnessaca Arena.

Well UC won in Carnessaca Arena last year....but I do like it being at MSG, they usually only put the bigger Big East opponents there.

If we can manage to take at least one game from all of the teams we play twice...I think we will have a good chance to make the dance. We have to take this one from StJ. We need to take one from Marquette. We already beat Nova once.

Every game from here on out seems like the biggest game of the year!

I want to see Dixon have a return to prominence game and SK to light it up back at his "home". I think we run away with this one, and I don't say that often.

While I like Dixion's athleticism. His inconsistency drives me crazy. For a guy who has played major college basketball for 4 years his Basketball IQ is one of the lowest on the team. He is not just prone to physical errors but mental blunders. His lack of consistency is felt just as much on Defense as it is on Offense. If he is unable to step up for the stretch run we will have a tough time making the Dance. If we are going to play 4 guards he has to board and play D. It just looks like at times he is not there. The first game against the Redmen he gave up the base line drive which caused the switch that left weak side rebound open for game winner. You can't have yor seniors making those kind of errors. When he is focused, slashing to the hoop and getting to foul line he is good but there are times he seems lost. He can be spectacular one minute and very average another. Need him consistent for the cats to advance to NCAA's

Couldn't agree more. Dixon is an athlete, not a basketball player. He'd be uneral on the AND1 Mixtape tour but he's not the best guy to have on your team. I don't see this changing for the stretch run. You're going to get some really good games from Dion but for the most part he's going to have games where he doesn't make much of an impact. The best we can hope for with Dixon is that he doesn't have too many games left where his play actually hurts the team.

Dixon reminds me a lot of James White when he was in his first year as a Bearcat. No doubt Flight White was a better athlete but Dixon in his senior year is very reminiscent of White in his first year as a Bearcat. White improved dramatically for his Jr and Sr years, with Dixon the improvement has been very minimal year over year.

Agree with both post! Cash can also drive me crazy! He as long arms and nevers seems to pressure the opposing guard! If this team start playing to their potential look out!

Youre right. Its like when one player plays well, another struggles. Need some more consistency

He leads the team in steals - in fewer minutes than either Dixon or SK.

Cash is very good at times, and very bad at times. Which makes it all the more frustrating. He also goes for reach around steals WAY too often. That doesn't work against good competition.

Maybe so but he has been money down the stretch more times Han not.

i would be interested to see his ranks among deflections as well...i am guessing he is one or two in that statistic as well...i am hoping that Cash will continue to take control of games and play down the stretch like last year, when he was playing like a top tier point guard in the BEast...

The big difference in the Play of the Cats since the X game has been Cash. While its nice to have Yancy back and excepting his role along with Sean and Dion contributing some points the big difference is Cash. Look at his stats before and including the X game and compare them to now. Even now when he disappears the performance suffers. When he is driving and finishing or dishing off the dribble he is a force for the Cats. He also is good defensively at times. Good not great. If the Cats are going to end the season strong he needs to step up. Without him we are a NIT team.

I don't think any of our players are half as bad as some fans would have us believe. I don't mind pointing things out about players...but somtimes it goes overboard and it's counterproductive.

If Dixon, JJ, Cash, or Gates were as bad as some advertise...our whole team would suck this year and we wouldn't have made the dance last year. Also, our coach would have to be a complete idiot for not being able to reckognize when a player is horrible.

Almost every player in the country is going to have inconsitency. If you had a chance to disect every team player by player like we do the Bearcats...we would stack up pretty well with most other teams.

I don't know why I am feeling it tonight...but my guts says 10+ point win.

Another missed layup by the Cats, can anyone on this team simply put the ball in the hoop?
