I watched Temple play USF last week on ESPN, they are a much better football team we are. Never thought I'd say that, but I just did.

Don't think we win this game. I'm not sure if we have improved to win a conference road game. Temple's defense is pretty good at keeping teams out the end zone once they get in the red zone. Just not sure if this Zac Taylor offensive scheme can generate enough points to win. Even with Gunner back, the play calling and plays are stale.

They struggled last year at home with Temple in a game I thought would be a W. Can't see them pulling this one out, but Gunner does change things. Before last week, opposing defensive coordinators simply had to stop the run since the QB couldn't throw it more than 8 yards downfield with any authority. Now they have to cover an entire football field. That changes things. Maybe not enough, but a fan can hope. If the Cats don't turn it over and get at least 2 takeaways, they win by 7. If not, Temple wins by 10.

Probably the homer in me, but I'm feeling pretty good about this game. Think we'll be able to continue to open the offense up with a qb capable of making all of the throws. As long as Gunner doesn't repeat last years 4int performance: UC 27 - Temple 20

No way our young defense stops Temple. Our freshman cornerback(s) are not capable of covering much right now.... This game may be in the 40's if Gunner can hold down the mistakes and get's his short passing game together...... if not, we get crushed.
We looked very strong, but inconsistent on offense vs. ECU. But the defense?....not good at all.....

hahahaha! I am listening on my phone while I do yard work. Its 70 degrees outside, gotta take advantage.

1st quarter was typical Tuberville team pathetic start.

Defense gave up a big TD play.

Boone thankfully got a big KO return.

Anybody else get the email they are doing the town hall meeting before first bball game to discuss state of Bearcats athletics? Will be very interesting to see how bad tuberville gets blasted in this. I plan on attending.

Scoreless in the second half 3 of 5 conference games. Outscored 158-89 in a conference we were supposedly better than. We're an AAC bottom feeder.
