Georgetown vs. South Florida, noon
Marquette vs. St. John’s, 2:30 p.m.
Notre Dame vs. Seton Hall, 7 p.m.
Louisville vs. Cincinnati, 9:30 p.m.

Georgetown staying in it with Cuse. I would like Cuse out of the tournament. Only team I think we wouldnt be able to stay with.

Not too worried about it yet because we have a long way to go.

Good to see Georgetown win (and cover :)). I think both Georgetown and Syracuse are bad matchups for UC, should UC get that far, but I would much rather play Georgetown if I had the choice.

No doubt.

Funny thing is, I feel that a win against WVA would assure us a place in the BE finals (I don't think winner of Pitt/ND will beat either us or WVA).

Onuaku's mother said x-rays on her son's leg were negative and he will be ok for the NCAA tournament.

I refuse to get ahead of myself. I'm just enjoying the ride.

But I agree :)

I just hope officials let us play like they have so far in the tournament. If we don't get in foul trouble like we did in the first game, I think we have a very good chance in this game.

One game at a time. If UC can continue rebounding, pushing the ball, then they have a solid chance to win. Some 3's would be nice too.

The key to the game is keeping WVU off the offensive glass. They killed us on the offensive glass in Morgantown in the second half and that was what won the game for them.

Yeah, but I attribute that to foul trouble which caused Thomas and Gates to sit and us to play zone (hard to rebound out of zone defense).

Yes, stopping them on the glass is big, but more important is foul trouble b/c without foul trouble, I don't see them beating us on the glass.

Lance, Wilks, and even Cash are playing with renewed confidence. Thomas has become a beast on the defensive glass. I think UC has a good shot at winning. The main concern I have is making shots, and wearing down in the 2nd half. Then again, I do believe I'd rather be on a roll than sitting back and not playing like WV has.
