The RNN will be reporting live from tonight's UC vs Jacksonville State game, not the school of Artis Gilmore, Pembrook Burrows, and Rex Morgan who beat Kentucky in the 1970 Regional Final 106-100, that was Jacksonville. Hoping the press room spread is excellent tonight.

Who would want to watch Duke vs Michigan State when you can see UC live.

Won't be able to watch. I will be relying heavily on your reporting skills tonight. Lets see what youre made of

Lol well Living Legend and Big Biscuit and I will be playing our favorite game... Guess The Ralph.

You look all around the arena and pick out which person is The ralph. It is entertaining.

Good thing Dixon is red hot from the 3 tonight! Very sloppy on the offensive end and Cashmere's effort is dismal. He is making terrible lazy passes, poor close outs, and basically just giving up on plays. Surprised Cronin has allowed him to stay on the floor.

Embarrassing 2nd half effort, simply getting out hustled and not putting any effort on both sides of the court. Atmosphere here is turrible.

Ralph, I was relying on you heavily tonight and your phone dies?

Terrible reporting, thankfully UCalum08 has come through.

Thanks for the updates

haha anytime! UC up by 10 with 1:50 left. This is probably the worse defensive effort I have seen in a while. The players simply look extremely lethargic.

IMO one of the biggest disappointments tonight is the lack of leadership from our starters. When the play got stale, our starters did nothing but give and up and whine. How can the freshmen get better when the starters show nothing.

Not going to over react to the second game of the season. Concerns:

1) Cronin has said he does not like this teams intensity. They lacked it tonight.

2) Lack of focus led to 20 turnovers. Good team would have taken advantage of that.

3) Sanders is the only bench player that scored. That has to change. Parker and Moog can't get back fast enough.

They stopped playing defense, Parker and Mbodj can't get back quick enough.

I agree with you Jeff. I actually was very pleased listening to the post game interview with Cronin. He acknowledged everything I wanted to hear and I can only imagine what practice will be like the next few days..

The team mailed it in with 18 minutes to go up by 27 points. The Ralph's cell phone died before tip off.

Wow, they really couldn't have cared less in the second half. I hope Cronin puts them through the wringer in practice this week.

I did not see the game, but I read Cincinnati.com

What concerns me is the consistent scoreless droubts with these UC teams year to year. It seems like each season they play in several games where they go on scoreless streaks of more than 1 or 2 minutes.

6 minute scoring droubt against J State? Not sure if the looks were wide open or what, but something has to change

A 1 or 2 minute scoring drought is not that concerning, IMO. That could be 2 possessions in which you didn't score......especially if the other team is eating clock.

The bigger concern should be quality shots. There was a stretch in the 2nd half when we settled for bad shots, or committed turnovers. I think most of it was fatigue, b/c our depth is limited.
