I haven't checked but my brother just said UC isn't ranked in the AP Poll. Was it #25 in the Coaches Poll?

I believe NTS said we're #28 in KenPom.

Any other rankings for the preseason? (Not the offseason ones for magazines that we've already discussed)

I believe UC came in at #26 in the AP Poll.

This is fine by me. You always want to be in the Top 25 for national perspective's sake, but regardless, we'll probably be ranked pretty high or unranked after the Hall-of-Fame tournament, depending on what happens.

1. Duke (58 first-place votes)
2. Kentucky (2)
3. Kansas
4. Villanova
5. Oregon
6. North Carolina
7. Xavier
8. Virginia
9. Wisconsin
10. Arizona
11. Indiana
12. Michigan State
13. Louisville
14. Gonzaga
15. Purdue
16. UCLA
17. Saint Mary's
18. Connecticut
19. Syracuse
20. West Virginia
21. Texas
22. Creighton
23. Rhode Island
24. Iowa State
25. Maryland

Quick takeaways

1.
Coaches poll vs. AP poll

The coaches poll, which came out Oct. 20, isn't drastically different from what we have above. In fact, most of it is interchangeable. Cincinnati being ranked there, and not in the AP, while Iowa State is ranked in the AP but not the coaches, is the only difference when it comes to inclusion. The top six teams are the same in each poll.

TeamkRankings.com has their ranking up.

https://www.teamrankings.com/ncb/ Bearcats at #23.

Given, teamrankings rating system is pretty strange. I think last year after the first few weeks they projected us at a 1 seed after we were scoring 90+ a game and winning by 25-30 each game.

Got to play Duke for RPI purposes.

It's great for them to be ranked. The unfortunate part of being where we are this time of year, if we lose a game this week, we drop out and have to play the wait and hope teams ahead of us lose. Even a loss to URI will drop us out.

Winning takes care of all that!! It's time to get it done from start to finish. No excuses.

Don't think it's been posted but the Massey rankings ( a composite of various ranking sites) has UC at # 28.
