No not at all. Lol However, in your case it’s very true.

Prob drumming some nickleback and creed l

at some point you have to make shots, not too sure what a coach can do to fix that right now. So many wide open shots that their guards just can't make. DDJ missed a wide open one with a minute left. MAW missed a wide open one with a few minutes left. The offense was actually pretty good if they just had some shooters.

FT's are the other thing. And KW is just killing this team. His minutes need to be reduced. Yet another game where he can't make a FT down the stretch. Then his defense was crap. Like I said, it's the holdovers that are so disappointing. Regardless of Skyblade, Diarra proved why he doesn't see the court.

Oh, and that's the second time the refs have completely screwed us. First the Tennessee game, now this. It's always on Vogt too. He had two completely bogus calls against him today for doing nothing but playing good D. These refs need to be held accountable.

Anyone who believes mamadou is better post defender than Vogt is crazy

As I've said in the past, Vogt is the better post defender, but the far worse defender overall. There is a reason that the majority of Tulsa's big runs came with Vogt in the game. Vogt is good at post defense, but he is abused on the drive and pick-and-roll defense.

I'm not sure why Eason went to the bench and didn't come back in. Our best run was with Eason at the 5, but he spend the late 2nd half out of the game.

For real, has Chris Vogt been the biggest drop off from one season to the next ?

Another Game that your starting center gives you basically nothing..

Oh and MAW... also has regressed.

When 2 starters are literally worse than they were the year prior, it’s a serious problem.

I was a bit more encouraged by this game then past games. We hit the offensive boards hard and played good defense for stretches. Yes shots didn't fall, but we at least played hard.

Obviously still have a lot to work on, but this game at least showed signs that we might turn it around.

Diarra is an energy guy who feeds off the crowd. With no crowd it’s tough for him.

But he will help us. Once he gets in a groove, he will be better than Vogt.

I think teams can plan to stop Vogt as we have zero outside shooting threats. Teams can pack it in.

Vogt I would argue hasn't regressed, he just doesn't have the threats around him that he used to. He got a lot of points rolling to the basket and getting wide open looks because teams hedged so hard to prevent the Cumberland's from shooting threes (or Jarron from driving). He also had Scott next to him as a major threat to score.

Now we don't have a true three point shooting threat (especially not one who can shoot or drive), so Vogt is one of the defenses main focuses instead of the third or forth biggest scoring threat on the floor. He's just not good enough for that role.

As for MAW, he is similar to last year, except this year he can't hit a three to save his life. Last year he was one of our better three point shooters, this year he looks like he'd struggle to outshoot McNeal or Trevor Moore. Hard to say what the problem is or how to solve it.

Yup, Diarra still shows promise. He needs to learn not to foul on defense, but he wasn't bad today. He hasn't played for a few weeks, feeds off the crowd and all year hasn't gotten enough time to get into a rhythm. We've seen what Vogt can do (and in this game it was let Tulsa go on runs), give Diarra some time.

Some of the people saying Diarra looks hopeless we're the same ones saying Rap would be good once he settled in.

He was awful today. 4 fouls in how many min? He just doesn’t have it upstairs.

Pick your battles man. Today isn’t the day to talk about how good or how much promise dou has.
