Regardless of the outcome, this is two terrible basketball teams playing AWEFUl. This is not basketball.

Pathetic, and no im not just tlaking about the 15 point lead blown, Im talking about the entire game.

Our offense looked much better in the second half. Bishop and Lance curling. Ibra getting active.

We still have flaws, obviously, but our defense was very, very good and our offense was good enough.

No, 2 very decent teams. UConn beat # 1 Texas a few weeks ago. Mick planned a great defensive strategy for today, holding UConn to 48 points. Mick really knows his X's and O's.

Mick sweept Hall of Fame and 2 time National Champion Jim Calhoun this season. Mick can flat out coach.

Wrong

Simply put, you have to beat the teams you are supposed to beat in this league. Uconn is now 4-8 in the league

Yes good D, but offense eeehh

Just because he is a hall of fame coach, doesn't mean his team this year is any good. Uconn looked very very bad today.

It really bothered you too..

UC is better than UCONN this year.

People will try to down play and say it was ugly but that is how you win on the road. NO ONE will care how the game was played. They just see cincinnati beat UCONN by 12.

And where has Texas gone since then? Exactly.

Holding Uconn to 48 points because they had 17 turnovers.

UC shot 17 percent from deep. what the!

Ill take the win no doubt, but in no way shape or form did this help sway my vote for Mick. Offense was terrible, just terrible. Players still shouldnt be playing at times and are. Ill hold off on my final verdict till the end of the year, but right now its not looking good.

HAHA you guys are funny a win on the road verse UCONN doesn't help Mick's case.

WE won despite our players not shooting worth a damn. Doesn't that mean coaching played a big factor??

Players dont shoot well ever. Probably due to lack of good shots produced by a terrible offense. Uconn is a big name program, that is all. To say they are a good team this year is seriously questionable.

UConn played bad because Mick designed such a great defense for the game.

Didnt feel like designing an offense? Not needed today? Or for that fact, this year?

It is amazing that you went from somewhat optimistic to hating Mick and this team more than anyone.

A win verse a pretty good team on the road is usually going to be ugly.

Blaming Mick for players not converting shots seems about right.

The fact is this was not BIG win.

This was a MUST win. Yes we are all relieved they won, but this win is nothing to hang your hat on. Uconn has fallen apart and is now 4-8 in conference.

The biggest stretch still remains ahead of UC with the last 3 games.

Exactly...

Any road victory in the BE calls for a well done. Even though they were characteristically sloppy at the end.
I loved the hustle, getting back on D, offensive boards, and the movement of offense. The defense was pretty darn good as well. I give them credit, except for the last three minutes.

No, But I'm not ready to say Mick is a great coach because he beat a HOF coach. Just because the guy is a HOF coach means nothing about this years team. That's all I was really saying. Do you think all those teams in the ACC think that their coaches are unreal because they beat UNC this year? It's a different UNC team than usual, just like Uconn.

Don't get me wrong the effort and defense was definitely there today. But the offense needs a lot of work.

Still too much standing around. Most of the points looked like the and 1 mix tape tour with a lot of 1 on 1 dribbling. They did get the ball inside 2nd half, just not nearly as much as they should have.

Side note...good to see Dixon back

You say UCONN is a pretty good team?? Umm, take a look at there schedule and tell me who they have beaten, besides an overrated Texas team. Here are a few of there home wins:

WIlliam and Mary by 9 points
Hofstra by 9 points
Harvard by 6 points
UCF by 9 points
DePaul by 7 points

Not exactly impressive wins. It's not like UCONN is the UCONN of old. I wouldn't say they are "pretty good" I'd say there are a decent team this year.

Still bitter about WVU losing huh?
