Let's face it the Bearcats have to have this game. Will we see tempo and line up changes?

Depaul can score and it should be an up and down game. Defensively Depaul is horrible. The Bearcats should be able to put points on the board and score often.

If Cincinnati can get back to playing smart basketball, ala after Xavier up to the WVU game, they have the talent to make a run. At least Sean Kilpatrick gets it and said as much when he said every game is a must win for the Bearcats. UC has enough talent to finish high in a down year for the BEast. It's all about wanting it and they haven't wanted it consistently.

It begins today. My opinion is this is a barometer for the remainder of the season. UC should and will win tonight.

Would love to UC go full court tonight. DePaul was playing well against St. Johns on Wednesday but a full court press by SJU completely rattled DePaul.

The Blue Demons are clearly better than in recent years but UC is the better team and will show that tonight.

UC 71
DePaul 57

Cincy 80 Depaul 67

Would be shocked if this is not an extremely uptempo game. Depaul will press a lot, shoot early/often, turn it over and give up a ton of easy/good looks on D.

Going with the 4 guards tonight.....GOOD! Not sure why they went away with it but that's a topic for a diffrent thread.

Cats can't afford another questionable loss. I hope and expect them to play like it.

Go Cats!!

shoutout to justin jackson for playing some great d on cleveland melvin and getting the team pumped up, he played one of the best offensive games of his carrer tonight

Cincinnati is 2-1 against the teams ahead of them in conference and they have 4games remaining against teams either tied with or currently in front of them. With what I call bad losses to Presbytarian, St. Johns, and Rutgers, the Bearcats have to stop playing up and down to their competition and play every team like it's a tournament game. They have half their games left against teams teams they are battling for position with. They need to make the most of it. This team is 234th in field goal percentage. It'd also be nice to see them get hot shooting the basketball for a stretch.
