UCF (9-6, 0-3 AAC, NET #103, Kenpom #107)

UCF enters the game on a four game losing streak. Three of those were on the road against top 60 teams. Illinois St is the lone common opponent, who UCF beat on the road by two. They are 174th in offensive efficiency, 74th in defense, and 214th in tempo. Their strengths are offensive rebounding (54th) and keeping teams off the free throw line (58th). Weaknesses are getting to the line (284th) and 3pt shooting (302nd, 29.8%).

Torvik predicts a 67-65 win, 56% win probability.

UCF is led by 6'11" junior Collin Smith, who has a 28.5 usage rate and an ORtg below 100.

Nice job, Sedziobs.

Early lines have us as 2 to 2.5 point favorites.

UCF only returned their 4th, 8th, and 9th leading scorers from last season's team, so one could argue that they've had a bigger challenge than we've had with breaking in a new roster.

In their past two home games they've lost to Temple by 4 and only beat NET #296 Bethune Cookman by 5.

This is a game that we should expect to win. Hopefully we have a decent fan contingent present in what should be a fairly friendly road atmosphere.

The narrative that Chris McNeal is a good defender is wrong, he’s not good at anything

This ones not looking promising so far. Vogt again looking poor on defense and the guards aren't able to stop a drive. Keith is the only player who is really bringing it on offense.

Need to keep it close until half and hope something changes.

Are you serious? Look at our zone offense. You sound like Mick “We didn’t hold them to 25 points so we lost”

Lol

Do you know how bad ucf is offensively

In conference they are one of the worst offenses in the league.

But yea man, the defense is great.

We’re not exactly known for great post halftime performances away from home.

The guards have been much more of a problem. They can't keep anyone in front of them to save their lives or keep getting caught ball watching for their man to sneak open
