3 straight halves holding teams under 30 points is pretty elite, very nice defensively, offensively not good, turnovers atrocious, shot selection bad. Jarron’s still asleep, UC playing sloppy at 12 o’clock games hasn’t changed
 
Jarron probably the worst player on the floor that half. Not winning anything with him completely out of it.

They've shot 46%. Our defense has not been good, this game has just been played at a very slow pace.

It would help if Vogt could provide any help defense. Watch all our other bigs, they slide over to help guard on drives. Then watch Vogt: a pretty high percentage of the time he just ignores the the opponent driving and it leads to an easy layup.

You’re right. You know the game better than anyone on here. He has to guard his guy and his teammates guy. No excuses.
 
What kinda of defense abandons your star guard in the paint when he is at the basket?

Like the help around the rim is bad at times

This defense is too one on nod reliant on a team full of bad one on one defenders
 
Collin Smith is a bitch with what looks like pubic hair on his chin gets literally every single whistle and acts like he got shot any time he gets touched

Seriously, it's absurd. Two Scott steals somehow turn into fouls from literally nothing. Not to mention he's like taken as many foul shots as UC has as a team

On the road, John Brannen is going to get treated like a new coach in the league.

But he has the demand his respect.

Mick was an idiot a lot of the times but the refs generally respected him
 
Getting Collin Smith switched onto Jarron led to some nice offense several trips in a row. Smith seems like he should be better at defense than he is.

UCF made the adjustment last trip though. Just kept Smith in the paint and let the other guys help on the screen.
 
This defense is incredible UCF hasn’t made a fg in 9 minutes Johnny brannen lady’s and gents
 
Cumberland needs to be our point guard from here out. He is more than equipped to and MAW/McNeal are not.
