Tuberville: "Quarterback competition starts again today at 3 O'clock."

UCF is terrible. They're defeated, at rock bottom, and they lost their coach. I actually think this means we'll get an inspired effort from them.

UCF 23
UC 41

This is a very good UC team. Defense is a little suspect in the secondary but solid enough to win most games.

Unfortunately couldn't take at least 1 of Temple, Memphis or BYU. Need to beat Houston to salvage the season.

I agree, I thought coming into the season we had a legitimate chance at a BCS bowl with our talent. That is what makes our bad start so frustrating.

Temple was a surprise and I saw BYU and Memphis as our toughest challenges. Beating Houston is an absolute must in terms of season success.

Looks like the threat of losing his job made him step up his game. I'm glad to see it.

Agreed. It was a well executed plan by the coach. They even mentioned during the game TT at some point during or pre season said GK had some growing up to do. The kid is a great QB...just needed an new perspective.

UCF is 109 in total defense and completely quit. None of the deep balls Kiel threw were particularly well thrown...Holton and Moore had to literally stop and come back to the ball. We go through this song and dance every year. People seem to think the team is getting better...NOPE....we are just playing worse competition. The blowouts in the bowl games should tell you this. We are playing the #29 defense in the country next week, let's see how Kiel looks then. I predict multiple interceptions along with a few nice throws.

He was 15 of 15. Have there been any other qbs who played ucf? I know they were a cupcake but geesh. When you have a player 20 yards ahead of the defender the ONLY cardinal sin is to overthrow them. I expect some passes to be on the short side of perfect.

Even against bad competition you have to admit a qb can do worse than 41 of his last 50 passes with no ints and 7 tds and around 640 yards. I don't care if your name is Mariota.
