Eventful 2nd half to say the least.

It shouldn't go understated how big that last step back 3 from DeJulius was.

UCF was as advertized. Shot it well from three but turned it over 24 times, including 16 live ball turnovers. Lakhin and Nolley combined for 9 steals.

DDJ had a great game on both ends. Lakhin went 6 for 6 at the line which might have saved us.

Maw and davenport. Yikes.

Nolley went from a must have player to a complete and utter disaster down the stretch.

Landers has been very good lately in all aspects of the game, and was even really good 3/4tha of the game even with his shot not falling. I think he must have been gassed at the end which led to lazy play. Even missed a wide open dunk.

This was the first game of the season we gave up 10 threes. Last year we only did it twice all season. I don't like everything about Wes Miller, but he does a good job defending the three point line. We have made at least 10 threes 9 times so far this year.

MAW has gone ice cold recently. He's only 3-23 (13%) from beyond the arc over the last 5 games. With Phinisee returning I think he should see a drop in minutes. MAW played 30 today, but he's not the defender that Phinisee is and if his shot isn't falling he doesn't offer much.

We're now top 40 on Torvik. We backed into one quality win when Wichita entered the top 135 NET, and we may back into another one if Tulane sneaks into the top 75. Tulane picked up a big win at Memphis today. Still, even if that happens and we win out, we're looking at a 6-7 record in quality games.

Big Vik starting become one of best bigs ever wear UC uniform. He stay another two years he'll surpass Kenyon. Maybe don't get his accolades because of roster but no big was this good as underclassmen since Yancy.

You literally make my head hurt as well as others on the board I'm sure.

In an all out effort to lose a game landers Nolley went for 17 points and 5 steals. Even when he is not trying to score he can still do it. And some teams just like to give him the ball.

If the fix is on...it's the other team. We covered

I agree with everything except the surpassing Kenyon part. Vik would have to become not only the best Center in college basketball but the best overall player in college basketball to hold that honor.

Good back-to-the-basket bigs are a rare breed in college basketball these days and Vik is definitely the best one we've had since Yancy.

If Vik returns next season (as expected), he'll have his hands full against a much higher-caliber of player in the Big 12 but if he continues on his current trajectory, he could easily develop into an NBA draft pick.
