I've only watched 20 seconds of the interview and already got a quarter chub because I saw Brooks walking in the background without a limp and a practice jersey on!

LOL! Brooks looks like he's getting close to playing.

It was funny when coach said "I never speak in absolutes". Dammit...did I just...

This was posted on Chad's YouTube channel. It shows up if you subscribe to it and he has press conferences and things like this on there it looks like. The Periscope thing on Twitter is also great. I don't know if it's just the technology, or great season, or what, but it seems like there are tons of different ways to get Bearcat content these days. Pretty sweet for the fans and great exposure for recruits to get more inside the scenes looks at our programs and they can also see that we're very much with the times. Sounds stupid, but that kind of stuff can be very important for our perception.

Thanks for posting by the way Jacob! You don't get enough credit for what you do for this board. Especially making it convenient for me to find/watch pressers...hahaha! But for those who don't know the behind the scenes stuff Jacob is the MVP in more ways than 1!!

I second that!

UC does an amazing job of releasing post and pre game press conferences every single week.

You'd be surprised how many schools don't. Even household name schools. I always try to get the pregame comments from our opponents and teams like uconn rarely do it as well as others

100% agree with this. UC is top notch when it comes to this. Sometimes I will look at our opponents website to see what their players and coaches say and you can't find anything.

Curious about the pace. Fall complicates things, especially if Brooks is out. Do we play zone? Does that hurt our deflection numbers and limit run outs coming from loose balls, steals, etc? Do we sell out for more run outs, more possessions, and deal with Fall possibly being productive early, but eventually wear him out? Regardless of how it shakes out, our passing in the halfcout offense against their zone is HUGE. If Johnson is being a ball stopper, he needs to get yanked for Cumberland. We shouldn't fall short of 70, and no way should we allow them to even get more than 60.

I don't think we will, but falling short of 70 isn't exactly a disappointment against one of the top defensive teams in the country. But I do expect us to keep them in the low 50s.

With 8 games left for a undefeated league title in the regular season every game is a biggy. Numbers indicate if we hit 70 against most of our competition we win. To do that against UCF we need to hit some outside shots. They are able to guard the perimeter because the interior defense is so very good. The guards got to play well tonight. Pushing the pace and getting some transition baskets is going to be big for us. Any points we get off the break or turnovers enhances our chances of winning. We are at home with more talent. This should be a W. Could careless how many we score is long as we have more.

Im just concerned about pace.

I don't want them to force us to grind it out.

It looks like teams have been really pushing the pace against UCF in the conference portion of the season and its why they have struggled. In the Non conference that wasn't as much the case. That seems like the winning strategy; beat the zone down the floor.

Its absolutely crucial that we hit outside shots but also not be afraid to go right at Tacko

Troy needs to push the pace to keep Tacko behind the action when possible. I would rather get off some quick shots than wait for him to get in defensive position. Make him run as much as we can. If he walks the ball up and we play half court all night it's not going to be fun.

We have shown we can run when we need to. Their defense all starts inside; we will be able to get out in transition against them.
