Miles Simon missed tonight! However, it was close.
Don't start the bullshit......
Just sit back and enjoy the win.....
As I said, Ralph starts more than his share of BS.
If A was a recruit watching lastnights game, how could you not want to be part of the this program. Obekpa and Rubles should be excited for the opportunity to play with this returning group. Good PG and wing players. You have good developing bigs in the Gym to practice against. A young coach who wants to be there. And if the City is smart they will get behind this team and fill the arena. The Cats are being rebuilt the right way and for the long haul. Can't wait for saturday's game. They have energized the fan base.
So many things I was impressed by last night. The thing that isn't being mentioned is Yancy's defense. He shut down the UConn bigs. They were a non-factor. Parker did his fair share as well. It looks to me like this team has matured in front of our eyes, all of them.
SK's defense is vastly improved, he took Lamb out of the game, with help on the switches from Dixon and company. The defense of this team is so fun to watch.
The offense at times still stagnates, but if they are hitting shots it works. I love when they get to driving and dishing, getting the ball to the highpost and working it around. I would like to see more movement off the ball, but can't much complain about it now.
JD played a great role last night as well, spelling Cash when he had fallen on his shoulder, made a couple buckets and didn't turn the ball over.
Overall a great showing for the Cats, now let's go get those Mountain men.
Great win. Great gut check.
Bearcatjeff - just wondering...next year with Yancy gone, which player do you think Cronin will suspend in order to get his team to listen to him?
Lets worry about this year.
