UConn (13-13, 4-9 AAC, NET 96) has lost 6 of their past 9 games, including 4 in a row, since we barely escaped from them in overtime at Fifth Third in mid-January.

Star point guard Jalen Adams went out in the opening minutes with a sprained knee against Temple several weeks ago and will be out on Sunday. Alterique Gilbert returned to action Thursday night @SMU after missing 5 games, but could only muster 6 points in 23 minutes off the bench.

Earlier this season UConn beat SMU and Wichita St at home by greater margins than we did (beat SMU by 12 and WSU by 20).

The key players to stop tomorrow will be Christian Vital (has scored in double digits in all but 3 games this season) and Tyler Polley (averaging 16 ppg over past 3 games on 11/20 shooting from 3).

We are currently on a 6-game winning streak against UConn and have won 8 of the last 9 match-ups.

Huge game to stay in the Conference Champ race as well as be the game that would confirm us as an official "lock" for the tourney.

I hate these kinds of games. Expect them to take care of business even though the spot scares me.

Interested to see what our center position looks like for the rest of the half with Brooks on the bench with 2 fouls. I'm not too confident in our chances with Nsoseme seeing extended minutes.

We haven't had a starter score since the 18:00 mark. 15 straight bench points. We have to be approaching some type of record for that.
