We played hard. Caupain was a man. We made plays. We actually made a clutch shot. I'm proud of the effort.

I'm super frustrated that we celebrated after tho, because had our D been ready maybe that shot wouldn't have been so open....even if it was a pure miracle. He still had what was basically a wide open look going at the rim.

And I maintain we are cursed. We just are. We have Kenyon, Armin, and stuff like this (or the crap like West Virginia in the NCAA tourney)...or just about any time we play UCONN when it matters.

If there's a light at the end of the tunnel, maybe this drops us to a 10 seed or 11. Then again, with our luck, we'd probably get Michigan State in the second game. I'm hardly an optimist...and that's assuming we even get in.

Cursed with an awful coach who can't win a meaningful game in his career. His streak of zero conf tourney championships continues.

Nothing to comment about this game. Just an amazing game to watch. We are all better for it.

First who is we? What spot do you play?

Second how are they better by blowing a 9 point half time lead and by celebrating a win with time on the clock? If anything it shows how poorly this team is coached.

Seen way to many low basketball iq playes in ten years. Enough of this garbage year after year.

Seriously though, the double OT loss to Temple, the bullshit half court shot that Tulsa had at Tulsa, and now UConns bullshit half court bomb, I mean when does the punishment stop?

True. The path to a second weekend is MUCH better for a 10/11 seed versus a 8/9 though. I think we probably avoid Dayton anyways but you never know.

Totally agree with that. Another post made a similar comment. Ideal would be a safe 10 or 11 seed without the play-in game.

Thank you. This was vintage Cronin basketball on display. Sick of all the excuse makers for this pathetic brand of basketball.

Honestly we shouldn't drop at all after that game. If anything, we *should* be a solid 10.

Awesome. We're happy to be a double digit seed and look as the season as a good one instead of a complete failure.

Remember mick said this was his best team....

I mean, I agree with you. But it is what it is at this point. Unfortunately, nothing we can do but look at what we are.

We basically need Temple to win the tourney now. At most, we might get 3 teams getting in. We won't get 4 teams in if another team steals a bid (Memphis, Tulsa, or Houston).

Eh, I'd say either one. UCONN is gonna be gassed and we beat them twice. Temple swept us. Who knows how much UCONN has left.

I seriously think Cincinnati is cursed. The way the Bengals and Bearcats lost is unbelievable. I almost want the season to be over because I can't handle any more brutal ways to watch this team lose....
