I'll preface my post by saying I have nothing against you personally. I just truly am baffled how you can support Tuberville at this point. I mean seriously is he family? Do you know him personally?
I did a little research on your post history because honestly I was trying to figure out if you posted on anything other than calling out all the fans that are displeased with Tuberville. And I went to one of you very first posts you posted:

Straw that Broke my Back
I know already that I will be criticized for what I am about to say, but I'm done. After 25 years, I just can't take it anymore. Now when I go to games, it is like going to the dentist for a root canal. I am sick of the "you have to be tough' type talk. The name of the game is putting the ball in the basket, and for the life of me, these guys are playing basketball 12 months a year and cannot score. Someone will take my place gladly, I am sure. It just makes me sick!!
This was two basketball seasons ago. You actually started a thread to show your displeasure. I don't know what game it was after, probably the X game because losing to them makes us all pull our hair out.
My only point is you call out my post saying lunch mob mentality, which frankly is wrong and in poor taste considering thousands and thousands of people were lynched and thus killed for no reason in this country. To compare this situation to that is laughable, but I get the point. Simply put Tommy Tuberville is not doing the job we fans and donors and supporters of the program expect. We pay his salary. I put in maybe $2500 a year to Bearcat athletics. Been a UCats supporter for ten years officially and even before then went to plenty of games. But lets just say I've given roughly $25,000 to UC athletics. A mere drop in the bucket of what their budget has been the past ten years. But my point, you start losing guys like me by the hundreds and hundreds and this program goes backwards. It will affect basketball and football. Football, whether us fans want to admit it or not drives the money that pays for every athletic program. That includes swimming, track and field, etc. etc. Failing at the football level simply can't happen. UC was very fortunate to turn it's program in a few short years from an absolute afterthought to the casual Cincinnatian to actually having pretty good support considering. They can't go back to non relevance. Now I support the athletics through thick and thin but most people don't and won't. I already know people like me who have given up seats in the Tuberville era. Given up donations, given up money. This program simply can not afford to go backwards. And while we fans might gripe and groan a little too much about an individual play or win or loss, the guiding truth is that most fans understand when a team is performing to its ability and when something is wrong.
So this brings me to you. Seriously, how are you the one person out of over a hundred I've talked to/heard from that doesn't see the train wreck that Tuberville has brought forth on this program? He is completely clueless. He talks of rebuilding and whatever else crap he spewed out on Tuesday. This team wasn't rebuilding when he took over. All he had to do was maintain status quo. We were better than our bad conference and outrecruited the rest of our conference for the most part. A good coach gets his team to outperform and win vs. similar competition. Yes maybe a team has a chemistry issue or a costly injury that cause a weak link, but not four years of it. Tuberville has shown a sustained pattern of futility here.
So again, I'll ask you as I did in the other thread and you didn't respond and others have done. Instead of pointing fingers and giving unsubstantiated quotes like mob mentality or we never played or coach. Explain your position, explain why you support him. Explain why you have faith in the job he is doing. Because frankly after seeing your displeasure in the basketball team it's clear you're not just a blind supporter. So I truly am curious. You can read my post history. I was happy with the signing of Tuberville. I thought having a coach not looking for his next job and was a name that could recruit would keep us winning. It actually wouldn't have taken much at all in this conference. So I was pleased. I gave him the benefit of the doubt the first year, not his players, blah, blah, blah, new system. By year two and losing games we shouldn't and struggling vs. some really bad teams, I started seeing that the problem was he wasn't getting the most out of his players. Which, sidely is what pisses me most off when fans compare him and Cronin. Cronin might not have the program where we all want it, but his teams don't grossly underperform and he does put forth a gameplan to win and for the most part gets the most out of his players. But that's another argument. Tuberville's teams don't play hard, don't play smart, don't play well. It's a clear as day to everybody but you apparently. So please tell me why I should support Tuberville. Why I should give money to the trainwreck I see before me to the university if the university doesn't listen to me and 99.9% of the fans and now the media on the absolute abysmal performance Tuberville has done? How am I joining a lynch mob in wanting Tuberville gone?
