Finally put in Shaq - hope it's not too late!
Nice job keeping him out, Mick - one of only 2 guys who's not afraid to drive the lane.

2 usf players fouled out. uc has to get this.

did you guys know moobl parents travled over 4000 miles to see their son play?

Told you guys!!!!
Too many negative people on here!
Great halftime adjustments by mick!! I'm excited to see this team make a deep run in the be tourney and ncaa

Here we go!!!!!!!!!!

Cheikh put on a great show for his parents!!!!!!!!
Cats killed on the boards and made FT's.
Parker played ferociously.
Again, though, no new offensive plays. Couldn't get the ball inside, and a total waste of talent letting Shaq sit on the bench. He must be on Cronin's shit list.
SK's handles are still suspect.

yep. usf had two players foul out. usf couldn't grab a rebound in ot, but uc made free throws.

so luck and good foul shooting at the end won this game.

I don't think the OT was luck, but the Cats played liked there was no tomorrow. Somewhere in there, I hope Cronin told them that in those exact words to fire them up .......don't know what was said before the OT.

usf down two starters in ot. that had a lot to do with this win.

During his entire playing career, UC has not lost a game that Alex Eppensteiner has started.

Agree with all your points! Except you are being too nice about SK's handles...he has NONE! He has to work on being able to drive to the hoop this off season. All I want is for Cronin to play Shaq and Cheik was a baller. So glad he could come up big in front of his parents.

It's not luck when a player fouls out, it's part of the game. Just like it wasn't luck Collins uncharacteristically had 6 turnovers yesterday, it was part of the game.

You can't rip them when they lose and not give credit when they win. They came back late from 8 down. Make several big shots, hit foul shots and made some timely defensive plays.

Both Mick and Chuck seconded my opinion this team has a low basketball iq. Both talked about the bigs and their lack of it. Strickland and Lawence may both start next year with what's here. Three moving pick violations, by 3 different bigs, in such a short period of time is something I've never seen.

Also found it interesting that Dan and Chuck said some form of this 2-3 times yesterday (paraphrase) "That's not the game plan Mick went over with the players." If guys on the court aren't running the game plan that is a player leadership issue and particularly a Cash issue. Chuck lamented Rubles lack of iq and the bigs lack of iq a few times after a stupid mistake. It's the reason I'd go 4 guards. I'd either play GG, Cash, SK, Parker, Cheikh or Cash, SK, Parker, Thomas/Sanders, Rubles/Jackson. I like either Jackson or Cheikh starting for their shot blocking ability. Frankly, I'd love 40 minutes of 4 guard pressing and they could drop to a 2-3 from time to time to rest. But hey that's just me.

When we had a 5 pt. lead for the first time (35-30 I think), and the crowd was really in the game, we forced Rudd into a blatant traveling violation that the refs didn't call. SF went on to score about 12 straight points. If we're discussing luck, there's an example of when one poor no-call completely changed how that game played out. Had we got that one call, with the momentum and the crowd pumped, I think we go on to a double digit win in regulation.
