Who am I?

Since there isn't much going on in the Huggins Inn, I thought this could be a fun game to play.

The game is called Who am I? The only stipulation is that we have to use athletes. You give a few hints about the person you are, and then people guess who you are. They can ask questions if they want. The person who gets it right then has to come up with their own athlete for people to guess. I'll start it off with a pretty easy one.

I am a McDonald's all American.

I was part of the top recruiting class in the nation at that time.

I was on an NCAA college basketball team and on an NBA team in the same week.

Who am I?

To answer your question, he is currently still in the NBA. And another rule in the game, you can only take one guess, then you have to wait until at least 1 other person guesses.

No, but he does have a finals connection. At one point he did play with rajon rondo.

And on second thought, this isn't really so easy.

I am going to go ahead and assume he played with Rondo during the Kentucky years. Is it Crawford?

Close, but no. The reason this dude is significant is because, I'm almost positive, he is the only player in NBA history to be on a college team and an NBA team in the same week.

I'm going to take a stab and say Shawn Kemp!!!

It's much more recent then that. Really, it's not that easy, the only real significant part was that he was the only player to play on an NBA team and College team in the same week. He signed with the Knicks a few days after his team was eliminated from the ncaa tourney. He does not play with the Knicks any more though.

This may have been a little more challenging then I thought. I have a few other athletes in mind for the next one.

It looks like he declared for the draft and didn't sign with agent or team, but never resinded his declaration and continued to play at UK. The NBA then declared him a free agent. So technically he played what looks like 2 season as a Pro.

I will guess since you on a UK roll, your thinking about Dwayne Wade and I think his jersey took off after Miami won a championship. Have no idea about Sportsmen of the year, but I know he had 2 out of 4.
