Black UC visor (screw the haters) and a black under armour UC polo. Ballin'. Sounds like we have a large "crew" of internet warriors heading to Longworth Hall. Should be a good time.

Will the visor be on backwards accompanied by spiked, gelled hair and upside-down sunglasses on the back of your head? If not, you're good. If so, yikes.

ROFL, no, that's pushing it a bit... Didn't even make it to Longworth's though, we wound up in a lot next to the stadium. Oh well. Hell of a game.

I'd say this game was an absolute success in regards to it being held at Paul Brown... I'm with Dan Hoard, I'd like to see one marquee game a year played down there. If this is truly a big time program now (or getting there) which we all think it is, we should be able to sell 50,000 tickets minimum, to the marquee home opponent on the schedule each season. And if everything goes according to plan, in a handful of years we will come to expect each of those games to be a sell out. Loved the atmosphere and it truly was a home field advantage for the team which fed off the crowd all night long.

^^ Have to think one or more games at PBS is the future of UC football. The fact of the matter is a better facility, can hold a larger crowd gives UC the feel of a "big time" program to attract recruits, better tailgaiting and, most importantly, UC does not have the money or space to build Nippert into a 50,000+ stadium.

UC is a growing fanbase. People in this city have only caught onto the "bandwagon", if you will, the last half of last year. There is no reason why a school with 250,000 living alumni, in a metropolitan area of its size can continue to grow to attract 50-65K to a football game. A guy on another board raised a good point, PBS attracts certain people in town who probably would never go to a game in Clifton because they never attended UC and/or they have negative perceptions about the area being unsafe/trashy. However, same person would go to PBS.

Right now, I think the right thing for the program is to play one or more games a year there, and play the other home games at Nippert. As it evolves, maybe more will need to be played there. Here is how I see it looking at the schedule the next couple years:

2011- play NC State and WV at PBS. Easily gets 45,000+ (WVU could sellout)
2012- play Pitt at PBS
2013- Purdue, WVU again

I like the idea of one game down there a year right now until they are able to sell Nippert out before the season begins through season tickets... when that happens, that's when you need to start thinking about moving more of the games to PBS.
