Staying out of foul trouble is VERY important today - particularly for Washington and Clark. If Morris or Kelly pick up fouls for WSU they can easily sub in McDuffie and Willis in the front court and not lose a step on either end of the court.

We don't have that luxury with our back-up bigs.

2 things are a bit concerning about today

1) wichita state doesn't turn the ball over

2) they are the 4th best team in the country at preventing offensive rebounds.

It will be interesting to see how those 2 things play out. Wichita State doesn't force many turnovers at all themselves so we can't be careless with the ball like we have a tendency to be.

Can't have a rockfight.

I think that's short-sighted. That's a very good accomplishment that our players can take with them forever. And if we win the regular season, it'd be awesome to do a victory lap in the tournament and sweep it. I'd like for each of our players to get at least 1 AAC Title, 1 AAC Tournament Title, and a Sweet 16 in a 4 year career. And that's a minimum. I feel like conference championships are underrated...it's easy for 95% of teams to dismiss it bc they didn't win. But for me personally, winning that kind of stuff validates your season. It gives you a real feat to point to. I remember last year Washington said he was glad that people were proud of the team, but they wanted more bc they didn't go home with anything. I want our players on cloud 9 going into the selection show. Nowhere they can ship us will get us down at that point.
I may be late saying this, but conference tourney champs often underachive/ lose earlier then they should in the big dance. I don't have the data in front of me but I've seen this multiple times.

Why just the conference tourney champs? Shouldn't it be both teams who played the extra game? And if that's the case, we would be better off losing to Tulsa in the semi-finals? If we are the 1 seed, and Houston/Wichita are on the other side, and we don't get to the finals, I don't care what anyone says, there is nothing you can do to convince me that's better for us.

I tend to try to look at things on a case-by-case basis though.

Guys I hope this isn’t a bad sign but right before the Florida game, my daughter took off running and busted her head on a counter then on the floor. I spent the next 2 hours at the ER. We lost

This morning my daughter was climbing on our ottoman and slip and fell and got a gash on her head. To the ER we went to get the wound glued. We’re home and I’m headed to the game but man, no games and my 3 and half your old don’t mix.

Let’s hope for speedy recovery and a Bearcats win. Will be the ultimate shitty day If we lose

I agree it is case-by-case. But what I've always heard and read is a talk about all that hot team they won the conference tournament for the ACC like Duke. But they're the hottest team then they end up losing. maybe only go to Sweet 16. When everyone thought they were going to win it all.

Cronin is trying to be bellichick right now, if you have the best players available you play those players, keep your ego out of it coach
