Hey guys we just won a league title. Something we all have been hoping for. Now the tread has turned into a opinion based pile of BS about our coach and their coach And which one has disrespected their opponents. . Sorry for the rant but we are the champs let's act like it. If you want to discuss who is the bigg st AH Mick or Marshall please start a new thread.

I agree. We just won a conference title. Let's enjoy it and celebrate like the team did!.

I am so happy this morning! Our team worked their asses off all year. Evans was a soldier. Great team effort. The bench really helped out...good for them.

Lots of contributions from the bench in getting here. Some real development going on here. Love ve how Williams took that 3 and never hesitated.

I have to admit I really thought we would lose that game yesterday. Away game, senior night, they had beat us at home. So proud of our team. Great effort. To win the outright title under those conditions is truly amazing. On to the league tourney.

I am very happy for Williams! That was a HUGE 3! I think I smiled as much as he did when he made it.

Not only senior night...but they might have as many or more seniors than any other tourney team...not sure. A very tall order...we did it. Some nice adjustments were made to hold them to 25 in the second half. They score over 80 ppg on average. We sacked up and locked it down.

That's fair.

This was a huge win. On the road in what appeared to be a very loud environment. Huge stakes (conference championship....#1 seed). Versus a very talented team on senior night.

Got some great minutes out of a few guys even if the majority of the time was eaten up by who you would expect. Eliel came in a gave some good minutes. Williams hit a big shot (even though he got lost on D for an easy layup). Brooks played much better than I've seen out of him for a while. Washington struggled mightily...but never let it get to his head and made some important plays in the second half. Broome broke down the D for some nice shots in the lane. Cumberland really brought his A game early to help us. And of course Evans and Clark....man what a terrific game. I was a nervous wreck the entire game, but it was worth it!

You know as fans we all like to offer up our expertise to players and coaches. That is half the fun of being a fan but with how Mick and Staff have brought this team around starting from day 1 has been a real thing of beauty. Cane has really transformed his game from being a 1 man show into a team first player who has figured out how to fit his play in with his teammates. Scott has been used to his strengths offensive rebounder and defender with a occasional put back. His FT shooting has also been on the rise. Brooks is the other half of Washington. Defender of the bigs. He has a way to go offensively but there is talent. Moore is scrappy and much more then a spot up shooter. Ellie is going to be a force on the boards. Lots of contributions from these guys. Not to mention how much they push the starters in practice. One more guy I have to mention is JJ? Kid takes a ton of trash on the message boards but all he does is what Coach asks him to do without saying a word. He defers his game to the 4 starters and plays good defense. Doesn't force things and gets everyone involved. Now that Cane has grown not that role and is getting most of the minutes he still is ready when called on and hasn't sulked a bit. These guys are the definition of team.

Probably like most of us posting here I was screaming at Mick to ramp up the pace but after the game it was clear he thought our best chance of winning was to not get into a up and down game with them. As it turned out he was right and I was happily wrong.

No problem. I'm not trying to be the board police or anything but I want the kids and fans to enjoy this accomplishment. Been awhile.

I think every player can feel like they were a part of this win which is very cool. They all played in this game and they can all celebrate whatever they did this year to help get us to this point. Coaches included. I think every coach or player likely did something to help us claw out a close game here or there.

It didn’t look that bad to me. Sorry I’m not agreeing with you. I will try to agree with everything you think from now on. Cronin trying to fight a player would be 100x worse

stop having a pity party mate. I didn't agree with you , you didn't agree with me. Its called disagreement. My bad, I will try to always agree with you. See how that works?

Also, I in no way believe Cronin wanted to fight Macura. But yes that was a bad look. Atleast his was "supposedly" provoked by something other than simply losing.

I respect your right to be wrong. lol jk

we can agree on one thing Muthafooking outright champs baby!!! Cheers

Williams got caught for sure. Tough play in a split second.

The thing with Cronin and Macura, how many people actually saw the footage? If it was a big deal, it would have been shown repeatedly. From what I saw it he did not shake Macura's hand and a policeman escorted him to the locker room, some words exchanged, nothing more. Marshall just lost a tough game, even Broome's father said on twitter that Cane said that he has talked to Marshall and he likes Canes game and was much ado about nothing. Marshall was humble and was very complimentary in his postgame of UC.

yea its no big deal, just thought it was a bad look. And cane's dad also thought it was, he just apologized for taking it personal. The optics were bad, and I think the thing with coaches is you expect them to show the players respect. If Cronin had done that, we would all agree that it would be bad.

Something tells me this will become one of the better rivalries in the coming years. This good in year 1? Yes please
