Shammet and Evans both rolled ankles last night. hopefully everyone is healthy for sunday. I don't want to hear fans from either team making excuses for why they lost the game.
Shamet lost his shoe and then kept playing, two completely different things
Taylor rolled up on his leg be didn't just lose a shoe. He was limping around after. Evans would have come in if we were playing in a close game. Luckily it was tulane
Cronin said on the radio post game show, he is happy for the guys these last two games are on big network games. Love that Sunday is on CBS, and he talked about how we rarely lose to the same team twice in a season. Really sounded like UC, players and coaches are really focused on getting another shot at WSU. We will have to play our most complete game. I look at this match up as a round of 32 or S16 level game. Regardless, this is a great game entering March Madness.

if Jake can't go I think Cumberland gets a bunch more touches.if jake can't play, or you don't want to risk re-injury, you just run things through broome right?
it looked like ucf had a lot of success doubling morris as soon as he caught it last night. he had 19 points but it took him 18 shots to do it and he settled for some jumpers.
i just don't think we have anybody that can guard him 1v1.
No someone fell on his ankle and it looked pretty pain. his shoe also came off but it looked painful.
Still think Jacob's was worse
I was not really impressed with Jacob's method of injury to be honest I thought Shamets looked much worse. I would not be surprised if Shamet did not at least have a mild high ankle sprain. He may be in more pain come today. Hard to tell what was going on with Jacob looked lower ankle or foot. The fact he did not return to a blow out did not really worry me. He looked like he was getting up and down from his chair pretty easily and moving around during the timeouts. I would be more surprised (though not shocked) if he did not play.
I think your Cumberland bet is a great one. He has really improved in his over all game. Duke is a pretty solid bet also. Hard to bet against coach k. They either get upset in first round or go to final four. Evans not coming back was mainly precautionary, should be good to go sunday.yesterday per ESPN we had a 24 percent chance to make final four, so 85/1 is a great value bet. Hope our offense plays as freely as we did against Tulane. Someone mentioned doubling Shaq, I think running them off the three point line and rebounding will be the keys to the game. I would throw nysier,Scott and Ellie at him with constant pressure, if he is having his way then double. He is a good passer and doubling will allow him to get the ball out to shooters for open threes, something that makes them extremely difficult to contend with. Make them attack basket and limit second shot opportunities. Gives us a chance to winI told one of my buddies that Cumberland would be AAC POY at some point in his career. He offered me +400. Good odds for him but I couldn't resist.
Also got Duke +700 from him even though they're 6/1 right now. Figured I'd grad a little value and pair it with my UC 85/1.
It was reported that he was practicing today by Terry Nelson.
Who's he?
