This is a serious question and I want honest answers.

Would you rather UC get hot and go on a little run-be a bubble team and get in the NCAA tournament(11 seed) and Mick keep his job.

Or, would you rather UC not do well and lose the tournament and have Mick get fired after the year?

Might sound dumb--but what option is best for our future?

No question, UC make the tourney.

In a perfect world, we would catch fire, make the tourny. Pitino leaves for the Nets, Cronin leaves to go to the Louisville. That would be a perfect world for me. But to answer your question, I want to win now.

To win now! Cronin lovers want Mick cause they feel he can win for this program. Myself and cronin disbelievers want him out because we feel the program is not where it should be nor does the future look bright. Just cause we hate Mick doesnt make us Bearcat Haters! UC Basketball always comes first. Get in the tourny

The question is pointless as Mick will return next season no matter what happens the rest of this season. Mick has done a wonderful job rebuilding UC on the court and academically.

wonderful? no. Its just a question to see which you would rather have but I appreciate you taking it seriously as if one or the other were going to happen.

It's an opinion question dufus. Everything we talk about here is opinion and doesn't really matter. What's the point of having a discussion board if you can't discuss things.

Correct. Mick was told a few things before he got here.

1st and 2nd year were throw aways
3rd year .500
4th year NIT
5th year NCAA

We may not like it but he is on tract.

And since then he received a two year extension because of the fine rebuilding job he has done. Is the team better off than they were 4 years ago when Mick took over? Absolutely yes. Case closed.

Of coarse they are.

The question is if Mick is the guy to take us from middle of the road to Big East contendor? I am not sure.

The question has been asked if we want them to tank so Mick would be gone. My opinion is no, no matter the coach, I want my teams to win now. I never said that the players have not been playing hard.

I do not think Cronin can coach this (or any other) team to the top tier of the league. But to answer the question, I would love to see them win out, make a run in the NCAA, and prove myself and many others wrong about his coaching abilities.
