I was looking at the box score of the Colorado game, and some stats surprised me. Colorado State had three starters knock down three 3's each, shooting 9/20 from behind the line. I know absolutely nothing about Colorado State, but it seems like Xavier has had trouble all year defending the 3 point play. Bluiett went 6/13 from 3, but their team combined for just 7/27. Shutting Bluiett down will definitely be a key when we play them. Xavier is also hurting a lot with Myles Davis being out, but it sounds like he should be back soon. Hopefully he doesn't kill us like he has in the past. Macura is shooting just .288% from 3 so far this season. We don't often see Xavier drop 2 games in a row, so I would have to guess that they are going to start playing a lot harder and start playing better.
