ray lewis led the ravens but trent differ will always be a super bowl quarterback.

what's your point? I don't think the question was "did Keith Legree play on a team that went to the elite 8". maybe i skipped over that post.

Legree didn't do alot in the way of scoring, but he did manage to shoot 45% from the floor overall, around 6 assists and 4 boards a game. I don't think he can be out right dismissed as unimportant but we've had better pg's.
I thought it was about least favorites? That's not necessarily a qualitative attribute.

Um I agree with the Legree pick. He was always taking shots at the end of the game or missing critical free throws that we needed. Now you couldn't press the guy but he just frustrated the hell out of me.

As of Donald Little, he had amazing talent. He could have been really special but just was to stupid or arrogant to see it fulfilled. He could have been crazy good. He was super athletic.

As for Kirkland I really thought he was finally doing the things I thought he would until he got hurt. Then that just killed us in 05/06. I think his length on the defense was a key weapon for us.

BJ Grove has to be my least favorite and Robert Whaley was just such a lazy dude. Didn't care for those guys.

When I read this, I just tried to think about people that I hated to see enter the game. For me, I'm going with Ibrahima Thomas. It just seemed like every time he entered the game he would miss four lay-ups, foul three players and then sit down after 2:30 of game time.

After that, Alvin Mitchell for sure.

Admittedly though, I didn't follow UC prior to starting school there in 08.

Alot of people hate I. Thomas. I think he was underrated, but his complete inability to hit the bunny shot was frustrating. His defense in my opinion was solid. He was a good rebounder and great at positioning himself. He didn't keep his hands up as well as he should and did pick up fouls quickly.

Totally agree. UC missed him last year. He had a very good senior year and his length provided havoc for opposing offenses.

Yeah, his length was good in the press. He had a natural instinct for positioning himself either for rebounding, defending or in the press to get steals. People hated Toyloy too for the same reasons, but when he was in there he rebounded and played solid D and helped defend against easy baskets. Same with Adam H really. The two of them could set a record for the longest game of HORSE, though. I just really wish we could find a guy that could do these things and throw in the two footer with somewhat ease. The problem with these three was when they were in there you just simply could not give them the ball and that turned the offense one-dimensional very quickly and that's not good especially with streaky shooters. Defenses just dare you to shoot, which we've never had a problem doing. At least Gates was a presence inside. He didn't always know what to do with the ball when he got it, but he didn't turn it over and the defense had to respect him because he at least had a shooter's touch. Gates will be missed, I'm just hoping Mbodj can provide a little honest offense for us.
